US singer/songwriter and part-time actor Jason Derülo has launched into the global charts once again with the new single to be taken off her second studio album, the track Don't Wanna Go Home.

Sampling Show Me Love by Robin S and Day-O (The Banana Boat Song) by Harry Belafonte, the pop/club number has seen Derülo score himself yet another #1 single in the UK. Additionally, Don't Wanna Go Home has reached top ten status in Australia, and top twenty status in another six countries worldwide.

The track is taken from Future History, the album scheduled for release in September. Of the album, Derülo tells Billboard.com:
"I like to write music based on who I am as a person, and this [album] is far different from the first one. On the first one I didn't have club tracks because I hadn't experienced that at all, and on this one my first record is about the most amazing party you've ever been to."
