American singer/model Cassie is preparing for the release of her new single King of Hearts. The track, which had a 30-second preview released to the web only hours ago, sees the Connecticut native venture down the path of urban dance music, similar to that of our Bajan popstar Rihanna.
Rumoured to be working on Cassie's long-awaited sophomore album is Jean Baptiste, who helped deliver one of last years best albums - Flesh Tone by Kelis.
In addition to the short preview below, we've managed to stumble across a remix of the track by DJ Sam Young (official or unofficial - we're unsure). Take a listen to both and prepare yourself for fantastic new material from the gorgeous Cassie.
