[VIDEO PREMIERE] COLDPLAY "CHARLIE BROWN"

British band Coldplay has unleashed the video for "Charlie Brown", the third single to be taken from their fifth studio album "Mylo Xyloto".

The video features a young couple who steal a car all to see their idols (Coldplay, obviously) perform in an already over-crowded club. Yes, it's lovely and all - but let's just say it has nothing on the video for their previous single "Paradise".

COLDPLAY TO RELEASE "CHARLIE BROWN" AS THIRD SINGLE FROM "MYLO XYLOTO"

British band Coldplay are set to release Charlie Brown as the third single taken from their Mylo Xyloto album, following the success of the singles Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall and Paradise.

The group have just finished filming the video in South London, with a range of topless women who are expected to be seen in the clip. According to Capital FM: "The 'Paradise' band placed an advert asking for extras to feature in the promo, for forthcoming single 'Charlie Brown', and offered an extra £100 if any would appear topless."

Interesting. The video is expected in the coming weeks, as the single is slated for a release on 10 January.

[VIDEO PREMIERE] COLDPLAY "PARADISE"

British band Coldplay have premiered the video for the second single lifted from their Mylo Xyloto release, the track Paradise.

The single has already charted in a number of countries worldwide and has currently reached a peak of #16 on the Billboard Hot 100. It's predecessor, Every Teardrop is a Waterfall, peaked at #14 earlier this year.

In the video lead singer Chris Martin plays an elephant who escapes a zoo to join his other elephant buddies in their band, naturally.

Paradise is available digitally today, with Mylo Xyloto available from 21 October (Australia), 24 October (elsewhere) [iTunes]

LISTEN TO NEW COLDPLAY WITH "PRINCESS OF CHINA" FEAT. RIHANNA

Princess of China, Coldplay's much-anticipated song featuring Rihanna, has leaked on the internet ahead of the album release. The track features on the band's upcoming fifth studio album, Mylo Xyloto.

Coldplay have dropped the cover for the second single to be lifted from their Mylo Xyloto album, the track Paradise. The single follows on from the Peter Allen-sampling Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall, which peaked at #6 in the UK.

UK band Coldplay have dropped the name and cover of their fifth studio album, Mylo Xyloto. The album features the lead single Every Teardrop is a Waterfall and the new single Paradise, which is out 12 September.

Side note: did you know that Every Teardrop features a sample of Peter Allen's classic 1976 track I Go To Rio? You do now!

ROBYN PERFORMS COLDPLAY'S "EVERY TEARDROP IS A WATERFALL" ON RADIO ONE'S LIVE LOUNGE

Just in case you didn't capture this, last week Robyn took to Radio One Live Lounge to perform her latest single from the Body Talk series, Call Your Girlfriend [VIDEO]. Additionally Robyn covered Coldplay's new single, Every Teardrop is a Waterfall.

Coldplay have premiered the video for their new single, Every Teardrop is a Waterfall. The upbeat pop/rock track was one of the many new songs I heard for the first time whilst overseas... in Paris actually. Ahh, that feels like a lifetime away.

Anyway. The video is bright, colourful, and doesn't make you want to slash your wrists - always a nice change from what the band normally produce. Enjoy.
