Australian singer-songwriter Delta Goodrem has premiered the video for "Dancing With A Broken Heart," the second single to be taken from her upcoming fourth studio album "Child of the Universe."

Whilst the track is getting a lot of slack for Goodrem taking us on a mid-tempo journey, we really love it. The Voice Australia judge sounds fantastic away from the piano gems she so often produces, and you must admit she looks gorgeous in the clip.

Watch the Hannah Lux Davis (Anjulie's "Brand New Bitch") directed video below.

Aussie pop chanteuse Delta Goodrem has revealed her latest single "Dancing With A Broken Heart," the follow up to the multi-platinum selling hit "Sitting On Top Of The World."

Unlike her previous single, Goodrem finds herself in a dance-fueled pop anthem with "Dancing With A Broken Heart." Whilst both tracks are produced by Grammy-award winning John Shanks, gone is the piano-driven chords and in come the drum beats. Interestingly, Shanks has also produced the pop gems "Come Clean" by Hilary Duff and "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson.

Take a listen to the future hit below.

In other Goodrem news, her fourth studio album, also titled "Dancing With A Broken Heart," will be released this coming September.

"Dancing With A Broken Heart" (single) will be available from August 3 [iTunes]

It's been a long time between hits for Australian singer-songwriter Delta Goodrem. The 27 year-old last appeared on our charts with her third studio album "Delta" back in 2007, with the album spawning the number one single "In this Life," the number two single "Believe Again" and the top twenty hits "You Will Only Break My Heart" and "I Can't Break It To My Heart."

Since then, the artist has broken up with long-time partner Brian McFadden, hooked up with and broken up with Jonas brother Nick Jonas, and tried to break into the US market with her piano-pop tunes.

Returning to the musical spotlight this year Goodrem has unleashed "Sitting On Top Of The World," the lead single from her upcoming fourth studio album.

The track, co-penned by Goodrem and previous collaborator John Shanks (Miley Cyrus' "Can't Be Tamed"), the star is aiming for yet another chart take-over. Whilst only just being released, the vocal coach on Australia's The Voice had a fantastic opportunity to help promo the song on last night's Logies on Australian TV.

The performance verdict - actually, not bad. We all know Goodrem can perform live, and so she did quite well last night. The benefits? The track is currently sitting comfortably within the top five on the Australian iTunes Singles Chart. You can catch the performance from last night Logies below, as well as the official video, which premiered online last week.
