MAROON 5 TO RELEASE "DAYLIGHT" AS NEXT SINGLE FROM "OVEREXPOSED"

American pop/rock group Maroon 5 have confirmed that the third single to be lifted from their fourth studio album "Overexposed" is the track "Daylight."

Produced by frontman Adam Levine, Mason "MdL" Levy and global hit-maker Max Martin, the track is expected to get a single release come October. Take a listen to the future hit below.

In other news, the group's current single "One More Night" this week reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it the third single from the band to do so - behind "Makes Me Wonder" (2007) and "Moves Like Jagger" featuring Christina Aguilera (2011).

Maroon 5 have premiered the video for the Max Martin and Shellback produced "One More Night," the second single to be lifted from the band's fourth album "Overexposed."

The video, directed by Peter Berg (who directed the action-themed films "Battleship" and "Hancock") features frontman Adam Levine play the part of a boxer, seemingly with a few family issues. Actress Minka Kelly plays Levine's wife in the clip.

LISTEN TO NEW MAROON 5 WITH "ONE MORE NIGHT"

American pop-rock group Maroon 5 have premiered "One More Night," the second single to be lifted from their latest album "Overexposed." The track follows the current single "Payphone" feat. rapper Wiz Khalifa.

The track was co-written and produced by Max Martin and Shellback... so you can almost guarantee the band have themselves another chart-topping hit. Listen to the track below.

American pop group Maroon 5 have premiered the video for "Payphone," the lead single from the group's  fourth studio album "Overexposed," due out in June. The track features rapper Wiz Khalifa on guest vocals.

The track, which was produced by Shellback and Benny Blanco, has already gained mainstream success as it currently sits within the top three in Australia, Canada and the US. 

Film director Samuel Bayer (Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around," Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit") was brought on board to direct the video, with the clip shot in Los Angeles, California. Watch the full video below.

US pop-rock group Maroon 5 have revealed the lead single off their upcoming studio album, the track "Payphone." The pop gem was produced by Shellback and Benny Blanco, and features Wiz Khalifa on guest vocals.

He Will Be Loved: Adam Levine covers Out Magazine, September issue

Superstar judge from The Voice and Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine features on the cover of the September issue of US gay magazine, Out.

Levine on his gay brother:

My brother is gay, and we knew when he was two. We all knew. We all really wanted to provide some cushion for him and constantly let him know that it’s OK. A lot of people don’t want their kid to be gay and will fight it at all costs. But I’ve got news for you—it’s a losing fucking battle.

Levine on gay marriage:

The fact that gay marriage isn’t legal everywhere at this point is a joke. But there are things now that you never thought would have existed, so I think that we’re kind of in good shape.

Levine on the It Gets Better campaign:

Perez [Hilton] asked me to do it. I found it strange that one of the biggest bullies on Earth is asking me. I was really not a fan of his. I thought he was part of the problem.

Maroon 5 have premiered the video for their latest hit single, Moves Like Jagger featuring Christina Aguilera. The track is to be added to a repackaged version of their 2010 album, Hands All Over.

In the video you get footage of the man himself (that is, Mick Jagger), Jagger-wannabes and Miss Aguilwarbler... but the best part of the video would have to be the footage of swanky Adam Levine exposing his torso in very Jagger like dance moves. Enough said.

[FRESH RELEASE] Maroon 5 feat. Christina Aguilera // Moves Like Jagger

Desperately needing some chart success, Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera should be overly-excited about their current venture - the Shellback and Benny Blanco produced number, Moves Like Jagger.

Released digitally in the US just over a week ago in conjunction with a live performance on the hit TV show The Voice, the track has gained both artists the much needed musical spotlight. This comes after the not-so-great performances of their 2010 released albums, Maroon 5's Hands All Over and Aguilera's Bionic. Both failed to provide the artists the global chart success they were hoping for.

Step in Moves Like Jagger and we have everything we need - a sexy, cheeky, pop number that is instantly likable. It's radio and crowd friendly, and has already scored both Maroon 5 and Aguilera a Billboard top ten hit. Having been released over the weekend in Australia, I'm expecting no less than a top ten hit here also.
