Following on from the single release of
Rock Me in June,
Melanie C drops her latest single continuing down the pop/dance path,
Think About It.
Taken from he new album
The Sea, which is due to hit stores in September, this will be Mel C's first studio album since 2007's
This Time. Talking about the album in a recent interview
posted on her YouTube channel, she talks about the upcoming album:
"I'm very excited about the record because, it's quite diverse in styles. I've worked with lots of new writers, people I haven't worked with before. There's still very much a pop element, and I've got some lovely ballads, some rock inspired tracks, some more dancey stuff, some acoustic stuff, and production wise there are some very atmospheric moments. So I really think it's going to be a diverse and stronger album."
I can't wait for this album -
Never Be The Same Again (featuring
Lisa Lopes) and
I Turn To You are absolute classics... let's hope we see some similar productions on this release.
Think About It will be released in August, however
Rock Me is available digitally today. EDIT:
Think About It will be released in Australia on 4 September, with a pre-order available now
