[VIDEO PREMIERE] MELANIE C "LET THERE BE LOVE"

UK singer/songwriter Melanie C has premiered the video for Let There Be Love, the second European single (available in Germany, Switzerland and Austria) to be lifted from her current album The Sea.

Weak, Mel C's second UK/international based single, had it's video premiere a few weeks ago, which you can watch online here.

[VIDEO PREMIERE] Melanie C / Weak

Sporty Spice Melanie C has premiered the video for Weak, the second single in the UK to be lifted from her album The Sea. The track was co-penned by our favourite Spice gal and Ina Wroldsen, and produced by Andy Chatterly (aka Mr Nerina Pallot).

The digital EP and physical single release features a new, non-album track titled Stronger, written by Mel C and Jim & Jack. Preview it here.

Melanie C to release Weak and Let There Be Love as the next singles from The Sea

Ex-Spice Girl Melanie C is set to release two different singles from The Sea as the follow up(s) to Think About It. The UK will be served Weak, whilst the rest of Europe will receive Let There Be Love.

Weak will be released 6 November and the limited edition CD single features the previously unheard uptempo track Stronger. The video for the track is currently being filmed. Let There Be Love will be released some time in December.

[FRESH RELEASE] Melanie C // Think About It

Following on from the single release of Rock Me in June, Melanie C drops her latest single continuing down the pop/dance path, Think About It.

Taken from he new album The Sea, which is due to hit stores in September, this will be Mel C's first studio album since 2007's This Time. Talking about the album in a recent interview posted on her YouTube channel, she talks about the upcoming album:

"I'm very excited about the record because, it's quite diverse in styles. I've worked with lots of new writers, people I haven't worked with before. There's still very much a pop element, and I've got some lovely ballads, some rock inspired tracks, some more dancey stuff, some acoustic stuff, and production wise there are some very atmospheric moments. So I really think it's going to be a diverse and stronger album."

I can't wait for this album - Never Be The Same Again (featuring Lisa Lopes) and I Turn To You are absolute classics... let's hope we see some similar productions on this release.

Think About It will be released in August, however Rock Me is available digitally today. EDIT: Think About It will be released in Australia on 4 September, with a pre-order available now [ITUNES]

[FRESH RELEASE] Melanie C // Rock Me

Ex Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm, affectionately known as Mel C, will release her fifth studio album in 2011. Chisholm has been in the studio with Dave Roth and Andy Chatterley (husband of Nerina Pallot) producing new material, the first taste of which is the track Rock Me.

The single is an upbeat pop-dance track that highlight's Mel C's distinct vocals. In it's high energy it actually has a lot of potential - so I'm looking to hearing more. Take a listen to the preview below for more. And don't foget to share your thoughts!
