[VIDEO PREMIERE] SAM SPARRO "I WISH I NEVER MET YOU"

Australian singer-songwriter Sam Sparro has premiered the clip for "I Wish I Never Met You," the second single to be lifted from the artists sophomore album "Return To Paradise."

The track, which brings to mind classic mid-tempo love-pop songs like Robyn's "Dancing On My Own," really showcases Sparro's brilliant vocals. Co-penned by Swedish pop star Erik Hassle,"I Wish I Never Met You" is this year's "Black & Gold" for Sparro.

The 1920s set clip, directed by Mike Rosenthal, looks to be a nod to the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, with Sparro and company's choreography.

SAM SPARRO REVEALS NEW SINGLE "I WISH I NEVER MET YOU"

Australian singer-songwriter Sam Sparro has revealed the second single to be lifted from his upcoming sophomore album "Return To Paradise," the track "I Wish I Never Met You." The track follows "Happiness," the album's lead single.

Sparro says of "I Wish...": "It’s that first instinct that you have after a bad break-up. You want to completely cut all ties. You go through a process but it often starts with anger. I think most people can relate to this notion."

The video, which was directed by Mike Rosenthal, is currently in production and is expected to drop in the coming weeks. Take a sneak peak at some pictures behind the scenes on Sparro's official site.

Australian singer-songwriter Sam Sparro has revealed the cover and tracklist of his upcoming second studio album release "Return To Paradise." The album features the lead (Australian) single, "Happiness."

"I’m really proud of this whole record, there is nothing on it that I’m not absolutely proud to stand next to," Sparro said in a statement. "A lot of the songs are about me trying to find my sense of innocence and peace of mind and things that I felt had escaped me for a while."

SAM SPARRO RETURNS WITH "HAPPINESS"

Australian singer-songwriter Sam Sparro is about to take the airwaves by storm with his latest piece of funk music, "Happiness". The track is the lead single lifted from Sparro's sophomore album "Return To Paradise".

A video for the track has been shot in Los Angeles and is expected shortly. Along with the clip a swag of remixes by Beni, Kim Anh x Small Pyramids, The Magician and Larry Heard/Mr Fingers are on their way.

The Sydney boy is currently in town gearing up for his Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras debut this weekend, “I don’t get nervous about many things, but I’m excited and nervous to lose my Mardi Gras virginity. I’ll be doing a couple of my own songs and a top secret tribute song,” he told the Star Observer.
