Australian electro outfit The Presets have dropped the video for "Promises," the third single to be lifted from their third studio album "Pacifica." The track follows previous singles "Youth in Trouble" and "Ghosts."
"Promises" was always one of our favourites from the LP with it's retro 80s-sounding hook, it's like it's been yanked straight from from Stock Aitken Waterman production!
The remix EP features mixes by Lifelike, Plastic Plates, Luomo and Nils Frahm. Our pick of the bunch is the Lifelike remix, which you can download for free below!
Both "Pacifica" and the "Promises" Remix EP are out now [iTunes]

Something I'm very happy about is the return of Sneaky Sound System. The Sydney based duo consisting of Connie Mitchell and Black Angus are back with their third album, From Here to Anywhere (due in August).
Back in 2007 the band cleaned up at the ARIA Awards for their 2006 eponymous release, taking home Best Dance Release and Breakthrough Artist. UFO, taken from that album and their most successful single to date (ARIA Singles Chart #11), still remains as one of my favourite tracks of all time.
Returning in 2008 with a much-anticipated release, Sneaky achieved their first #1 album aptly titled 2. The album spawned the successful single release, Kansas City (ARIA Singles Chart #14).
From Here to Anywhere is the first release with new record label Modular Recordings (home to other faves The Presets, Ladyhawke and Van She) and features the first single, We Love.
We Love has one of the cheekiest video clips I've seen in a long time. I won't disclose too much, but I'll let you know it includes lots of sexual innuendos - always welcome as far as I'm concerned! Watch the video below in full.
And for fans of the group, they're playing at the Virgin Metro Theatre on Saturday 2 July. For full details, including ticket information check it out online. I'll be there with my groove on, so I'll see you on the floor! [TICKET INFORMATION]
