MS MR REVEAL NEW SINGLE "FANTASY"

New York's indie-pop duo MS MR (vocalist Lizzy Plapinger and producer Max Hershenow) have revealed their new single "Fantasy," the lead to be taken from their upcoming debut album "Second Hand Rapture" due May.

Following on the from the success of "Hurricane," which came in at #40 on our Top 50 Singles of 2012, the track follows the pair on their dreamy synth-pop journey - an excellent preview of their upcoming LP release. Check out the new release below.

The duo are set to appear at the Laneway Festival, which kicks off in Singapore in Australia from February 1st in Brisbane.

VANBOT RETURNS WITH "HOLD THIS MOMENT"

Swedish singer-songwriter Ester Ideskog, aka Vanbot, has launched into the new year with a bang, revealing "Hold This Moment," the lead single to be taken from her upcoming sophomore album expected later this year.

Produced by the electro-pop star and Sebastian Forslund, "Hold This Moment" is a wonderful synth-pop gem that invokes memories of her debut material "Make Me, Break Me" and "Lost Without You." Take a listen the track below.

NICOLE SCERZINGER PREMIERES "BOOMERANG" VIDEO AND CAHILL REMIX

Ex-Pussycat Dolls lead singer Nicole Scherzinger has premiered the video for "Boomerang," the lead single to be taken from her upcoming sophomore solo album expected later this year. The track had it's premiere on UK radio on last Friday.

The video takes you on a Matrix-style journey, complete with multiple Scherzy's ready to take you out! Check out the big budget clip below.

CARLY RAE JEPSEN TO RELEASE "TONIGHT I'M GETTING OVER YOU" AS NEXT SINGLE

Canadian pop star Carly Rae Jepsen has confirmed that the third single to be lifted from her current album "Kiss" is the Lukas Hilbert and Max Martin-produced gem "Tonight I'm Getting Over You."

Co-written by Jepsen and the production team, the track is a euro-pop infused track not to dissimilar to "This Kiss," which failed commercially in comparison to the success of the worldwide hit "Call Me Maybe."

Yesterday the star updated her Facebook page about the upcoming video: "Big News! I am in LA this weekend filming the music video for my new single... "Tonight I'm Getting Over You!"

BIRDS OF TOYKO SCORE THEIR FIRST ARIA TOP TEN HIT WITH "LANTERNS"

Australian alt-rock group Birds of Tokyo have scored themselves their first ARIA top ten hit with their new single "Lanterns." The track, which is the second to be taken from their upcoming fourth studio album "March Fires," follows on from the lead single "This Fire."

Debuting at #5 on the Australian singles chart, "Lanterns" becomes the band's highest peaking single to date, surpassing their 2010 double-platinum hit "Plans," which peaked at #11.

The song is currently being used to promo Channel 7's viewing of tv series Revenge.

JENN D SHINES WITH NEW SINGLE "YOU KEEP GIVING ME LOVE"

London-based pop star Jenn D has revealed her new single "You Keep Giving Me Love" - - and it's a ripper! Following on from her debut single "Lost It" last year, the new Madeon-produced track is giving some real Kylie Minogue-inspired love.

Said to be working on her debut album out later this year, production will feature work from pop favourites Xenomania, TMS and Andy Chatterly.

DAWN RICHARD PREMIERES "86" VIDEO

Ex-Danity Kane and Diddy-Dirty Money singer Dawn Richard has premiered the video for "86," the lead single to be taken from her solo sophomore album "Goldenheart." It's been a long time coming, with "86" originally released back in September last year.

The clip sees Richard pay respect to her past including Danity Kane, her childhood, and native New Orleans. Directed by Eugene Lee Yang, Richard said “We’re using all the things in my past that people may view as negative as a catalyst to be inspiring—to fight for something.”

"86" was one of our favourite tracks last year, narrowly missing out top 50 singles for 2011 - we can't wait to grab our hands on "Goldenheart" to give it a good listen!
