Swedish singer-songwriter Vanbot has returned to the pop spotlight, premiering her new single "Got To Get Out". The track is the first of new material for the talented popstar, following the success of her self-titled debut album last year.

Vanbot talked to Nylon Magazine about her inspiration for the track, "Got To Get Out" is about my hometown Stockholm and how it's filled with people experiencing a sense of isolation and separation, how it makes you feel lonely in a crowd," she explains. "It’s fascinating that people can live so close together without really noticing one another. It's about exploring the city nightlife and the tendencies people have to chase after the experiences that will cause the best story to tell the next day instead of enjoying the happiness of the moment."

If you're like us and are fans of Vanbot's previous singles like "Make Me, Break Me", "Lost Without You" and "Numb" - you're going to love "Got To Get Out". Listen to the new track below.

May - what a month! After lots of walks along the Bondi-Coogee cliffs, on the beach, in the park... Thom has finally delivered his top tracks for the month. And, if I do say so myself, what a selection of fine material.

And so he's back. After spending loads of time in the 'hood (apparently that's dog-speak for the park down the road), Thom has recommended his hot tracks for the month of April.

He's made a point of saying, or barking actually, that lots of contenders put forward some great tunes over the last few weeks. It's been a tough month, and Thom has been jumping, running and peeing excitedly about all the musical options. On saying that however, here are his favourite tracks for the month...

Thom, licking his lips as he thinks about these delicious tracks...

Like. Like. Like. Like. Like. Like. And Like.

Not only did I just stumble upon the greatness than is Vanbot and provide you with her brilliant debut single, Make Me, Break Me; but now I provide you with the follow up to that single, Lost Without You.

Lost Without You invokes the same heart strings as Robyn's Dancing On My Own. Oh, bless. Pure pop sadness and love that makes you wanna dance and cry at the same time. Why do the Swede's get it right every time?

'Cause I never lose... I'm lost without you. Oh, bless.

Oh - you know I love my new music, especially when said new music is as good as this. I'm talking about a track called Make Me, Break Me by Ester Ideskog, otherwise known as Vanbot.

Vanbot, yet another talented artist from the land of the Swedes, sounds a lot like a cross between Robyn and La Roux - the vocals of our other Swedish princess complimented with the pop-synth sound of Elly Jackson's group. Essentially, nothing short of a pure pop sensation.

On launching her debut single, in a recent interview with Pop in Stereo Vanbot cites some of her musical influences as Goldfrapp, Royksopp, Empire Of The Sun, The Chemical Brothers, Robyn, and Crystal Castles - clearly no surprises there.

Make Me, Break Me is taken from Vanbot's debut album which will be released globally in mid-April. Check out the audio below, and stay tuned for informaition on this new bundle of joy as I get it!

Welcome, Vanbot.
