American indie-pop group Gossip have released a video for "Move In The Right Direction," the second single to be lifted from the group's latest LP, "A Joyful Noise." The track follows the lead single "Perfect World."
Produced by the legendary Fred Falke, "Move In The Right Direction" is definitely one of the standout tracks on the album. Unlike the video for "Perfect World," the clip is a lot less serious/dark/potentially morbid. Watch the full vid below.

US indie pop-rock group Gossip have returned with the first taste of new music for 2012, the track "Perfect World." Produced by Brian Higgins (of Xenomania), "Perfect World" is the lead single from the band's upcoming third studio album "A Joyful Noise."
Recorded in both Xenomania, Higgins' studio in England, and KBC Studios in Portland, Oregon, 'A Joyful Noise' stays true to Gossip's trademark brash and unapologetic nature – that is, as true as possible for a band that is constantly reinventing itself and pushing boundaries. Working with Higgins, Gossip sought to create their own brand of pop. Ditto proclaimed, "I spent the whole year listening to ABBA and not listening to the radio," accounting for the pulsing energy of A Joyful Noise. The album's infectious tracks will certainly be welcomed by fans who are already entranced by Gossip's insanely danceable beats, and will no doubt lure in many more.
"Perfect World" has already been sent to commercial radio in Australia, with the track coming in as the ninth most added track to radio networks across the country this week. Could we see a repeat of the success of "Heavy Cross"...? The single certainly has the potential to do just as well.
Gossip have also revealed the full tracklist for "A Joyful Noise," which will be released May 22. "Perfect World" is available today [iTunes]

Beth Ditto at her FINEST. Grab the talented Gossip singer, throw in the boys from Simian Mobile Disco, and voilà! You have yourself a sexy house number with the vocals of a pure (almost) angel.
I Wrote The Book is lifted off Beth Ditto's EP, aptly titled, Beth Ditto EP. And, shock-horror-shock-horror, it's actually available for purchase through the Australian iTunes store!
The video for I Wrote The Book is a black and white number that makes me feel like Beth took a page out of Madonna's book circa-Vogue/Justify My Love. Dunno, I could be off track, but I get the vibe. Regardless, it's a brilliant track and I can already see it clocking up some spins (loudly) at my place.
Love it. Your thoughts?
Video highlight: the dancers with their so-very-90's dancing! Hawt.
