Our very own Queen of Clubs Nadia Ali has returned to feature on Spencer & Hill's latest club effort, "Believe It." The track, which has been circling the interwebs for a little while now, has just had it's video premiere online.

This month US house DJ Morgan Page released his much-anticipated third studio "In The Air." So far the album has spawned the singles "Body Work" (feat. Tegan & Sara) and the title track (with Sultan & NedShepard & BT feat. Angela McCluskey).
One of the standout tracks on the LP is the definite club-banger "Carry Me," featuring the gorgeous NadiaAli on guest vocals. True to Page's signature house beats and Ali's outstanding vocals, "Carry Me" is a future smash hit in the making.

Finally! Armin van Buuren premieres the video for one of the best tracks off his 2010 Mirage release - Feels So Good featuring Nadia Ali on vocals. The song is slated to be the fifth single off the album.
The only thing I'll say is - too late! This clip should have been out months ago. Boo.

Armin van Buuren has released the fourth official single off his 2010 Mirage album, Drowning featuring UK singer Laura V on vocals. The video has premiered online in the last couple of days (below).
Definitely one of the strongest tracks on the album (behind Not Giving Up On Love featuring Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Feels So Good featuring Nadia Ali), Drowing won't disappoint AvB fans at all!

If you're a regular reader of my blog you'll know how much I adore Nadia Ali. The ex-iiO singer went solo a number of years back, releasing her debut album Embers in 2009. Embers is by far, one of my favourite albums of all time. Nadia's beautiful vocals weave in and out of electronic beats that make you yearn for love and want to groove all at the same time. Throw in the fact that she is a Middle-Eastern Goddess and BANG!

Back to music. In 2010 Nadia set out to release three remix albums under the common title, Nadia Ali: Queens of Clubs, each with a different gemstone representing each version (first: Ruby, second: Onyx and third: Diamond). On the second album Nadia revisited a favourite number of mine, Rapture, originally performed as part of iiO in 2001 (my God - ten years ago!).
Rapture has been remixed by Avicii and is aptly titled Avicii's New Generation Mix. I love the fact it has "New Generation" in the title as it's totally true. We have a new generation of young party goers that get to embrace the warmth of Nadia's vocals on what is clearly one of the best and biggest club tracks of all time. Generation X clubbers finding dark corners at 5am with Nadia whispering "mi amore don't you know, my love I want you so..." Ahhh, to be young again.

There are only a few voices on the club scene that you instantly recognise when you lose yourself to the beats on the floor. Unique vocals that bring a big smile to your face, and before you know it, you have yourself singing and dancing away like you're 16 years old again in your bedroom, all alone, and possibly naked.
Some of those vocals belong to big, power-house divas. Others to more unique, softer and not so 5-octave-range lasses. If we think about some of the successes (not necessarily chart-wise) over the past couple of years we think of Inaya Day, Kelis, Robyn, Luciana, Crystal Waters, Haley... the list could go on.
One however stands out of the crowd for me - Nadia Ali.
Most of you would know her as the vocal talent behind the group iiO. From 2002-2005 iiO filled our ears with joy with hits such as At The End, Smooth, Runaway, and of course their global smash hit Rapture (which went top 10 in most European countries, top 5 in the UK and Australia).
Since then Nadia released a solo album, Embers, in late 2009. For me, the album is one of the best albums of the last year - soothing vocals and great sounds that take you on a journey through the albums 13 tracks. Crash & Burn was released as a single in late 2008, the lead in to the album, which for me was a great starting point.
Nadia has since released the singles Love Story and more recently, Fantasy - all with a great selection of remixes (as you can imagine).
Move forward to today. Nadia is set to release a 3-part album series called The Queens of Clubs. Each album will be titled after a different 'stone', the first of which called the Ruby Edition. The albums are due out over the next 4 months, with remixes of all her album tracks plus additional tracks in which she's featured over the course of the last year (Better Run with Tocadisco, Try with Schiller both feature on the first album).
And lastly before I head off, Nadia has featured on a brilliant track with Chris Reece titled The Notice. It's a great house number, once again she delivers her smooth and sexy vocals. I've included the clip for you below to enjoy.

The much anticipated forth studio album from Armin van Buuren, Mirage, hits stores and online in the next week - finally! It's been nearly 2 and half years since Armin graced us with his musical pleasure with Imagine, and I gotta tell you, I've been hanging out for this album.
A few weeks ago we were blessed with the lead track from the album - Not Giving Up On Love feat. the slammin' Sophie Ellis-Bextor. I couldn't think of a better combo... her vocals are a perfect match for his beats. Love, love, love.
The album also features a track with Nadia Ali (ex-iiO for all you Rapture/At the End lovers!). I'll be very excited to hear that track... can't wait to get my hands on it!
