Local lady and blonde bombshell Havana Brown has revealed the first of new material for 2013, the very promising 'Flashing Lights.'

Whilst we're yet to hear the full radio edit, you can preview the track via the 16-second snippet below. Additionally, Brown has also served up some pretty fierce remixes by Dave AudeRichard Vission and Razor N Guido - listen to all below.

The Aussie DJ icon has previously topped the Billboard Dance/Club Charts with debut single 'We Run The Night' feat. Pitbull (2011) and 'Big Banana' feat. R3hab (2012). We reckon this new track will deliver the solid star yet another #1 club smash.

'Flashing Lights' will be released 23 August, pre-order now [iTunes]

Australian DJ/recording artist Havana Brown has premiered "City of Darkness," the third single to be lifted from the pop stars upcoming debut album (as a recording artist, not DJ).

The track, which appeared on Brown's Soundcloud page within the last 24 hours, follows more so in the footsteps of "Get It" rather than "We Run The Night" - it's a slightly more generic club sound that in our opinion, will probably struggle to reach the same heights as Brown's debut single.

Take a listen to the new track below - what are your thoughts?

Edit: Miss HB herself sent us a Tweet yesterday to confirm that "City of Darkness" is not in fact her new single and that we should stay tuned for more. You heard it here!

Ex-Rogue Traders front woman Natalie Bassingthwaighte has premiered the video for her new single, All We Have. The club-bangin' track, co-penned by Australian pop star Cassie Davis, has a distinct similarity to another one of Davis' recent writing credits - Havana Brown's We Run The Night.

In the video Nat Bass is bouncin' around with yo' party peeps reminding us all that indeed, all we have is tonight. It's a pretty standard clip, however I gotta say yo' lady does look mighty fine.

Australian DJ Havana Brown has premiered the video for her current single, Get It. The track follows the double-platinum selling single, We Run The Night.

Whilst you can't deny that Miss B looks fantastic, it still doesn't shy away from the fact that the song is pretty mediocre. Here's hoping something better comes up for the next release.

Australian female DJ extraordinaire Havana Brown is getting ready to tackle the US with her double-platnum ARIA hit We Run The Night.

Employing the talents of almost-overdone producer RedOne and Mr Worldwide rapper Pitbull, We Run The Night receives a makeover in readiness for the tracks release for the picky market stateside.

Watch the video for Pitbull's Rain Over Me, featuring Marc Anthony

In my opinion, I'm not sure that it hits the mark. It throws the original production into a psychotic fit, which is disappointing due to the fact that it didn't really need a complete makeover in the first place.

The whole debacle reminds me of what Ministry of Sound insisted WaWa do to Ricki-Lee's outstanding chart-topper Can't Touch It, completely chopping it up and turning it into U Wanna Little Of This. Don't get me wrong I love the boys from WaWa as they've produced and remixed some of the best tracks, but this mix turned Can't Touch It into a generic sounding club anthem like everything else in the UK.

Listen for yourself:

Can't Touch It - original mix

U Wanna Little Of This - WaWa mix

Back to Miss Brown. I really do hope this does well for her in the US, but I'm not convinced a glossy RedOne tag with a 30-second rap by my Cuban doppelgänger is going to cut the mustard.

Both versions are below - take a listen and share your thoughts. Do you think the Pitbull addition and RedOne reproduction are enough to help Havana Brown make it in the US?

Meanwhile, in Australia Brown is trying to mirror the success of We Run The Night with Get It. Unfortunately, I don't think many people do (get it, that is), as the track isn't doing nearly as well as it's predecessor.

Take a listen to Get It

Australia's very own Havana Brown launched her debut single upon us a few weeks ago. The track is Brown's first offering in which she provides vocals herself, as the famous female DJ is renowned for her Crave compilation series she produces (now up to volume five).

We Run The Night is a feel-good club track - which is very evident in the LA filmed video clip released this weekend. In it Brown has multiple costumes changes and certainly reminds all the boys how damn fine she really is. You go girl.

The single was released last week and debuted at #7 on the ARIA Singles Chart in it's first week. We Run The Night is available digitally today [ITUNES]
