And the K25 celebrations keep on coming! Kylie Minogue has just premiered the video for "Flower," the lead single from "The Abbey Road Sessions" album due to hit the shelves next month.

In a gorgeous black and white affair, our pop chanteuse looks stunning as she croons the lost ballad from the "X" era (circa 2008). Absolutely beautiful. Watch the full clip below.

Australia's biggest pop icon Kylie Minogue has revealed her latest surprise as part of her 25 year celebrations - "The Abbey Road Sessions" album to be released next month.

Recorded at the legendary Abbey Road studios, the LP will feature sixteen tracks from the superstar's career. Included is the apparent new single "Flower," which was originally recorded during Minogue's "X" era.

After only just posting about our Princess of Pop, lover Kylie Minogue has "unlocked" her new single via the 25 year celebrations viral campaign. "Timebomb" has been unleashed to the world, and you can now watch the full video for the hot new track below.

The clip, directed and edited by Christian Larson (Swedish House Mafia's "Miami 2 Ibiza" and "One"), the clip follows a cheeky Minogue as she parades around the streets of London. The video is fast-paced, full of action, and shows off the petite pop star's exceptional frame. Can we all just take a minute to appreciate Minogue turns 44 years-old in a matter of days... the woman is gorgeous.

KYLIE MINOGUE PREMIERES NEW SINGLE "TIMEBOMB"

Today, Australian icon Kylie Minogue premiered her new single "Timebomb." At this stage little is known of the song - it's writers or producers - however we can tell you that the electro-fused pop track is a definite winner.

Due to be "unlocked" via Minogue's "tweet to unlock" campaign as part of her celebration of her 25-years in the music industry, the track leaked online earlier today. Whilst most copies have been removed from the internet's existence, you can preview the track via the snippet below.

[GIG REVIEW] KYLIE MINOGUE'S ANTI TOUR, SYDNEY MARCH 20

Getting me to review a concert by someone that I completely idolise is like asking a five year-old to tell you all about his favourite candy - you're never going to hear anything critical, there'll be lots of smiles and giggles, and overall you'll walk away thinking you want a piece of that delicious piece of candy. For me, attending Kylie Minogue's much-anticipated Anti Tour in Sydney yesterday was a lot like that.

After hearing some pretty rave reviews about how the Australian pop goddess owned it at her two most recent gigs in Melbourne, the anticipation building inside was almost too much to handle leading up to the Sydney gig. What's worse was that we had tickets to the second show, so whilst I was reading everyones Facebook and Twitter messages as they entered Luna Park's Big Top, I was still at home trying to compose myself by watching fat people cry on Biggest Loser Singles.

Now, I'd like to think of myself a pretty straight-acting homosexual (I hate that term, really); but there is something about Miss Minogue that turns me into one of the campest queens in the world. Whether it's the inherent gay gene that activates it's pink DNA when I think/see/hear the talented wonder, or whether I'm just emanating every other gay man, I can't help it. Unfortunately, mainly for my partner, last night was no exception.

After finally getting to Luna Park and having to wait in queues with a variety of gay men and 30-something women, we were permitted to enter the Big Top. As the queens and fag-hags pushed and shoved their way into the hall I found myself inches away from the front standing in the general admission area (ok, so it was about four-person deep - same, same). Screaming, crying and shaking I was totally ready. Although, it was only 9:45pm and the Aphrodite wasn't due to 11:15pm. Oh dear.

Let's fast-forward to when Minogue arrived, as you don't want to hear me bitch and moan about the crusty old queens in front of me that clearly had too much - too much "to consume" and too much "work on their face" that is.

Minogue kicked off with the "X" bonus track "Magnetic Electric," closely followed by the "Je Ne Se Pourqois" b-side "Made in Heaven." Both tracks sent the crowd into a sort of frenzy that I'm sure could have been heard from Sydney's Opera House across the harbour. Hearing "Made in Heaven" was pure bliss - the PWL pop oozing out of the performance like it was 1988 all over again.

Moving forward the dancing diva performed the "Wow" b-side "Cherry Bomb," to which she claimed many fans had requested the track be on the setlist. It was evident she was right by the almost-deafening scream of the queen beside me - honey, calm the f**k down already, we're three songs into the performance. "BPM" (the "I Believe In You" b-side) was a welcome track which slotted in quite nicely afterwards.

One of Aphrodite's best tracks was on next, the bonus "Mighty Rivers" - yay! Definitely one of my personal favourites from this era which Minogue seemed to enjoy thoroughly as she grooved away on stage watching all her screaming fans go ballistic at her entire existence.

Stepping back in time, which is almost what we did as our girl teased us with the chorus of her 1989 hit "Step Back in Time," Minogue then delivered "Over Dreaming (Over You)" and "Always Find The Time." There was just something about these performances that invoked childhood memories of dancing to my idol, half naked, using my mother's hairbrush as a microphone. Clearly I'm not alone here, right?

"Tightrope" and "Paper Dolls" followed from the "Lights Years" and "Fever" eras respectively, with Kylie then introducing a track she'd written in her 'darker days' - "Stars" (from "X"). Whilst "X" always frustrated me as an album, it was surprising to see how many fans really engaged in this performance.

On came the lasers and down went the lights for the next part of the production with the Impossible Princess performing "Drunk" and "Say Hey" - two great performances that made me feel like I stuck back in some dirty club somewhere in the late nineties... and I don't think I was alone. Whether it be the tracks, the lack of air-conditioning (it was freakin' hot in there!) or just the ambiance of the gig - these tracks absolutely shone.

Bringing back the disco pop Minogue introduced the Jake Spears and Calvin Harris collaboration "Too Much" (after her plug of the new Scissor Sisters upcoming album, of course); which was then followed by the "Light Years" tracks "Bittersweet Goodbye" ('a farewell to a good friend' said Minogue) and "Disco Down."

"I Don't Need Anyone" was next, followed by Minogue's third Australian number one single "Got To Be Certain." I was surprised to hear the track considering we were avoiding 'all hits', but none the less again I was thrown back to the 80s and my love for Kylie as a kid. It didn't help either when the "Rhythm of Love" track "Things Can Only Get Better" came on!

All of a sudden (well, not really - but time flies when you're having fun, right?) the show came to an end and Minogue proceeded to leave thanking us all for coming along. The end? Surely not? More? Give me more! Alas, true to tradition in any concert, Minogue returned for an encore (which to this day, I still don't know why they bother leaving and coming back - we all know that they're going to come back - what a waste of time. Sing more already).

The Melbourne girl performed "That's Why They Write Love Songs," followed by the single (another?) taken from The Delinquents soundtrack "Tears On My Pillow," and closed with the PWL masterpiece and title of Minogue's sophomore album "Enjoy Yourself." What a performance!

As Minogue and her cast of talented musicians bowed and received the gratitude and thanks they deserved, a shower of gold and silver glitter rained from the ceiling of the Big Top. What more of a fitting way to end a truly spectacular performance by one of Australia's biggest and most successful exports, and of course, my idol.

Right now, I'm still high from the performance last night. You would struggle, anywhere in the world, to find an artist that would perform such a show for their true fans. No big production, fancy choreography, dramatic costumes or over-the-top stage productions - just a talented pop star giving back to her fans by performing some of her lesser-known yet equally-fabulous b-sides, rarities and album tracks.

KYLIE MINOGUE KICKSTARTS THE K25 ERA WITH "FINER FEELINGS" ACOUSTIC VERSION

Our girl Kylie Minogue has kick-started the "K25" era with a bang premiering an acoustic version of her 1992 "Let's Get To It" single "Finer Feelings".

Minogue asked fans to tweet #k25fans in order for the video to be unlocked, a request that took 25,000 lovers only minutes to do so. The result, a video of Minogue looking absolutely angelic as she purrs the lyrics to the beautiful track.

This is only one of many gifts that the Australian superstar has for us in 2012 - we can't wait to hear what she has up her sleeves next.

25TH 2011 ARIA AWARDS - THE WINNERS

Last night Australia was presented with the 25th ARIA Awards ceremony - and what a night of celebration it was. Favourites Boy & Bear and Gotye cleaned up, as predicted, collecting five and three awards each respectively.

Australian superstar Kylie Minogue was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, by old friend and music guru Molly Meldrum and Prime Minister Julia Gillard. "I'm a very proud Australian. Tonight's award means so much to me," Minogue told a star-studded crowd.
Minogue delivered an exceptional speech; which included thanking her family, her fans and those in the industry.

Other awards on the night went to Cut Copy for their Zonoscope album (for Best Dance Release); Guy Sebastain claimed the Highest Selling Single for Who's That Girl (feat. Eve) and US singer/songwriter P!nk reigned with the Most Popular International Artist.

The coveted Best Male Artist and Best Female Artist awards went to Gotye and Kimbra; with Single of teh Year and Album of the Year going to Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know and Boy & Bear's Moonfire respectively.

20 YEARS ON - THE BEST POP ALBUMS OF 1991

The year is 1991.

Sweden won the 36th Eurovision Song Contest, gaming giant Nintendo released the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Grease: The Original Soundtrack was available on CD for the very first time.

Over in the wonderful world of pop music Mariah Carey wanted you to feel her Emotions, Prince and the New Power Generation asked you to Gett Off and C&C Music Factory were Gonna Make You Sweat. In fact, many a brilliant pop gems had their debut in the Chinese Year of the Sheep.

As we draw a close to 2011 we thought it best to reflect on the best albums of 1991, those of which celebrate their 20th anniversary. While the critics are celebrating the re-releases of Nirvana's Nevermind and U2's Achtung Baby, we'll look at some of the less-celebrated gems in our collection...

The KLF - The White Room
Original release date: 4 March 1991

British house music group The KLF released their seventh LP after originally putting together the album back in 1989 as part of a movie soundtrack (of the same name) that never actually surfaced. The release spawned four hit singles, including the uber camp Justified and Ancient, which featured country superstar Tammy Wynette.

Lead by the single What Time Is Love (which was later remixed and re-released under the title America: What Time Is Love) the following singles Last Train To Trancentral and Justified and Ancient all peaked inside the UK top five. The groups biggest hit to date 3am Eternal hit the coveted top spot in their homeland as well as the Billboard dance chart in the US.

Throughout the groups five-year career (1987-92) The White Room stood as their most successful album.

Roxette - Joyride
Original release date: 28 March 1991

Duo Roxette, the second most successful band from Sweden (behind ABBA), produced their third and most successful album in 1991 - Joyride. Hitting the top spot in their homeland and Canada, #2 in Australia and the UK, the album produced five fairly successful singles - Joyride, Fading Like A Flower, The Big L, Spending My Time and Church Of Your Heart.

The title track, which served as the lead single went on to hit the #1 spot in multiple countries, including the US (their fourth to do so in their career). Interesting fact, the opening line of Joyride - "Hello, you fool, I love you" - was taken from a note that Per Gessle's then girlfriend (now wife) left for him at home.

Fading Like A Flower, the albums second single, was covered in 2005 by the Dancing DJs, and earned the group a UK top twenty hit in the making. Roxette were also credited as artists in the single release.

Joyride would be the band's last studio album to produce a top ten single in either Australia, the UK or the US.

Paula Abdul - Spellbound
Original release date: 14 May 1991

Abdul's Spellbound served as the then 29 year-olds sophomore album, following on from the success of her debut release Forever Your Girl three years prior. Hitting the top spot in the US and top five in many other countries the album went on to eclipse the worldwide sales of it's predecessor - selling in excess of 13 million copies.

The album's lead single, Rush Rush, was a mid-tempo ballad that gave Abdul her fifth #1 in her homeland spending five weeks at the summit. The video, featuring a very young Keanu Reeves, drew inspiration from James Dean's 1955 film Rebel Without A Cause.

Following on the album produced a further four US top twenty singles - The Promise Of A New Day (which gave Abdul her sixth US #1), Blowing Kisses In The Wind, Vibeology and Will You Marry Me.

Three years later the X Factor US judge went on to release Head Over Heels - her last and least successful studio album to date.

Dannii Minogue - Love and Kisses
Original release date: 3 June 1991

The younger Minogue delivered Love and Kisses, her international debut album in 1991 - a revamp of the  1990 Australian-only release of Dannii, with new additional tracks.

The album's title track, Dannii's debut single, peaked at #4 in Australia and served as her only top ten hit back home, whilst in the UK it was the first of many. Following singles were Success and I Don't Wanna Take This Pain (both co-penned by the starlet), Jump To The Beat and the fabulous Baby Love.

Jump To The Beat was a cover of the 1980 single, originally sung by US singer Stacy Lattisaw. The original peaked at #3 in the UK.

Interesting fact: the album contained a track co-penned by Dannii's older sister Kylie Minogue, called Love Traffic.

Martika - Martika's Kitchen
Original release date: 17 August 1991

US singer/songwriter Martika first came into the pop music scene with her eponymous debut album in 1988 and the Billboard #1 single Toy Soldiers.

Three years later, after working with the likes of DJs/producers Clivilles & Cole (of C&C Music Factory fame), the Californian native delivered one of the most famous love songs to this day, the Prince penned Love... Thy Will Be Done. The single peaked at #1 in Australia and achieved top ten status in the US and UK.

Additional singles released from the album, Martika's Kitchen (again penned by Prince) and Coloured Kisses (produced by C&C), failed to replicate the singers earlier success and would be the last time Martika saw any chart action in any of the major markets.

Whilst Martika's Kitchen was a fun pop album, it didn't achieve the global success the artist deserved. 20 years on however, it doesn't seem like that has held Martika down, as recent reports suggest that the artist in back in the recording studio and we're likely to hear something from her in 2012.

Mariah Carey - Emotions
Original release date: 17 September 1991

Carey's sophomore album served as her opportunity to be more creative after the success of her debut release the year prior. Working with a range of industry big-shots such as house music stars Clivillés & Cole, Carey co-wrote and co-produced every track on the album.

The album spawned three singles - Can't Let Go, Make It Happen and the title track. Whilst all reached top five status in the US, which includes Emotions hitting #1, the album was seen as less of a success in comparison to it's predecessor (selling eight millions copies worldwide vs fifteen million copies worldwide). Little did the world know, millions of records would be sold with Mariah's upcoming album releases.

If It's Over, co-penned by Carey and folk legend Carole King, featured on the album, with a live version later released as a single (taken from Carey's 1992 MTV Unplugged LP).

Prince & the New Power Generation - Diamonds and Pearls
Original release date: 1 October 1991

The master of name changes, Prince is no stranger to brilliant pop albums. Along with his peers at the time (George Michael, Madonna, Michael Jackson, etc) the Artist-Formerly-Known-As delivered album-after-album of pure quality - and Diamonds and Pearls was no exception.

Diamonds and Pearls, his ninth studio album at that stage, served as the artists most successful. The album spawned four official singles - six if you include Insatiable, which was released as an Urban Chart promo single; and Thunder, which was released as a limited edition 12" vinyl promo single.

Cream and the album's title track were globally the most successful, with the singles hitting #1 and #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Additionally Gett Off, the lead single from the Diamonds and Pearls campaign, faired well in the UK and Australia, peaking at #4 and #8 respectively.

Money Don't Matter 2 Night, the album's final single (and probably one of our favourite Prince tracks), had its video directed by film legend Spike Lee and depicted controversial images of a poverty-stricken African-American family.

Kylie Minogue - Let's Get To It
Original release date: 14 October 1991

Kylie's least successful (in volume of sales) and lowest charting album ever was her fourth delivery, Let's Get To It. Her last album to be delivered under the PWL record label, it moved away from the bubblegum pop we'd seen Minogue deliver in her earlier releases.

Whilst the previous album Rhthym Of Love was considered a little risque with it's sexual innuendos and flirtacious behaviour (think Better The Devil You Know and What Do I Have To Do), Let's Get To It produced it's own level of risks. With those risks, came lower chart performance.

On saying that, not all was bad news for our singing budgie - the lead single Word Is Out peaked at #10 in Australia; and Give Me Just A Little More Time peaked at #2 in the UK.

The album's "dancier" tracks included various samples, Too Much Of A Good Thing sampling Janet Jackson's Control, I Guesss I Like It Like That sampling 2 Unlimited's Get Ready For This, amoungst others; whilst the more commerical tracks saw Kylie lend a hand in the writing process, If You Were With Me, co-penned by Minogue and released as a single, was a duet with US singer Keith Washington.

Michael Jackson - Dangerous
Original release date: 26 November 1991

The late Michael Jackson had big shoes to fill when finalising his eighth studio album Dangerous, after delivering two of the biggest albums the world have ever seen - Thriller (1982) and Bad (1987) - with both albums selling in excess of 100 million records worldwide.

Whilst that may seem daunting, it certainly didn't detract, with Dangerous delivereing a whopping nine singles and selling in excess of 32 million copies worldwide.

The albums lead single, Black Or White, hit the top spot in multiple countries across the globe including all the big markets (the US, UK, Canada and Australia). The video for the single was directed by John Landis, who previously directed the clip for Thriller, and included actors Macaulay Culkin, George Wendt and supermodel Tyra Banks.

Following singles included Remember The Time, In The Closet, Jam, Who Is It, Heal The World, Give In To Me, Will You Be There and Gone Too Soon.

Interesting fact: the female vocal featured in the beginning of In The Closet was confirmed as Princess Stephanie of Monaco, however it was later re-recorded by model Naomi Campbell to coincide with her appearance in the music video.

KYLIE MINOGUE PERFORMS ON "X FACTOR AUSTRALIA", UNVEILS "KYLIE 25 YEARS" LOGO

If you're anything like us you've watched the last two nights of X Factor Australia, the grand final episodes, for one thing only - not the contestants, but Kylie Minogue.

On night one our girl performed a medley of hits with the final twelve contestants which included Can't Get You Outta My Head, Better The Devil You Know and All The Lovers. Watch the performance below,

As Minogue talked to ever-so-sharp host Luke Jacobz a new logo appeared before our eyes - the image depicting Kylie's signature "K" embraced by a glittering "25" next to it. Following this morning, Kylie tweeted the new logo and announced:

"Yes, say hello to the #K25 logo for my 25th anniversary in music next year!"

Yes, yes, yes! The ball is definitely rolling in Camp Kylie, and we can't be any more excited.

KYLIE MINOGUE WORKING ON ACOUSTIC/ORCHESTRAL ALBUM FOR 2012

In 2012 our very own beauty Kylie Minogue hits the 25 year milestone in the record industry. Throughout those years, watched quite closely by myself and many other adoring fans, Minogue has done nothing but delight us with pure pop melodies.

To celebrate this amazing feat Kyles has announced that she'll be working on an acoustic/orchestal album:

“I’ve been at Abbey Road for about two weeks in total. Not just for this, I’ve been working on a project for next year. Next year’s my 25th anniversary so we’ve been recording acoustic and orchestral versions of a number of my hits.”

Two words can only describe what we're feeling right now... CANNOT. WAIT. Stay tuned for more as it comes about.

KYLIE MINOGUE CONFIRMED "X FACTOR AUSTRALIA" PERFORMANCE, CONFIRMED "APHRODITE LES FOLIES: LIVE IN LONDON" DVD/BLU-RAY RELEASE

Tonight we're received confirmation that our very own Kylie Minogue, who's flying back home to receive her ARIA Hall of Fame Award at this years ARIA Awards, will play at the grand final of X Factor Australia.

Ms Aphrodite will perform on both nights - Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 November - showcasing some of her biggest and best hits in her only performances whilst she's home. The X Factor Grand Final will be broadcast on Channel Seven.

Now, how do we get our hands on those tickets... hmmm.

KYLIE MINOGUE TO BE INDUCTED INTO THE "ARIA HALL OF FAME"

This year our very own Kylie Minogue will be inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame at the ARIA Awards 2011 ceremony. Like the annual awards this year the petite singer, along with the actual awards themselves, will celebrate 25 years in the music industry.

Miss Minogue first burst into the scene back in 1987 with her debut single The Loco-motion. The track, which was a cover of the Little Eva song from 1962, reached #1 in Australia and became one of ten singles to do so in her outstanding career here in her homeland.

To date Minogue has released 51 official singles, eleven studio albums, nine compilation albums, four live albums, and eleven remix albums. Of those albums, three have reached the coveted spot in Australia and five in the UK.

Certainly no stranger to the ARIA Awards in her time, Minogue has collected sixteen awards including those with indie pop/rock singer Nick Cave for their release Where The Wild Roses Grow in 1996. In addition to those achievements the singing budgie also holds awards for other multiple ceremonies, including three BRIT Awards and a Grammy, for her 2004 single Come Into My World.

Phew - what a career. Like many other who will be celebrating her achievement on the night, I'm so proud of what our girl has accomplished. Kylie Minogue should be proud of her career, we are.

[ON TOUR] JimmySteele is out for a few weeks...

Yep, that's right dedicated readers - I'm out on tour. Over the next few weeks I'll be offline spending my time in some of the most amazing places on this planet. My travels will take me to San Francisco, New York, London, Barcelona and Paris.

Whilst on this wonderful journey with my beloved partner, I'll be collecting as much music memorabilia as I can find, to come back home and blog about. One of the most exciting parts of my trip will actually begin with seeing none other than my Aphrodite Goddess Kylie Minogue in San Francisco - in fact by the time you read this I've probably already seen her, ie: died, gone to heaven, and come back.

KYLIE MINOGUE'S "APHRODITE LES FOLIES" GODDESS AND TOUR EDITIONS

In news that has brought fans worldwide to a glistening standstill - Kylie Minogue will release not one, but two exclusive tour editions of her successful Aphrodite album.

Version one, the Les Folies Edition, will feature three-discs: the standard Aphrodite album; a remix disc featuring the Pete Hammond remix of Put Your Hands Up and an exclusive mix of Aphrodite by Australia's Denzal Park; and a 20 minute megamix mixed by Denzal Park (cover above and back below). SQUEAL!

Version two, the Goddess Edition, will feature the standard Aphrodite album, exclusive interviews, pop-up images and a whole lot more. This edition is strictly limited, and will no doubt sell out very quickly (preview below). SQUEAL X2!

Dancing Kylie for Vs Magazine

Earlier this year Kylie Minogue featured on the cover of Vs Magazine Spring/Summer edition.  Now she's back in a dancing fashion video with her track Get Outta My Way as the background tune.

The film clip is by Chris Bisagni and Minogue is styled by Alicia Lombardini.
