UK singer-songwriter Leona Lewis has premiered the video for "Trouble," the lead single to be taken from her "Glassheart" LP, out next month. The track was co-penned by Emeli Sandé and produced by Naughty Boy.

The track follows the promotional single "Collide," which was released last year, after much controversy, featuring Avicii on the official final release.

"Trouble" is available from 7 October, with "Glassheart" available from 15 October (UK) [iTunes]

UK pop star Leona Lewis has revealed "Trouble," the second single (or first, depending on whether you feel you'd like to include "Collide") to be lifted from her upcoming third studio album "Glassheart." The track features Childish Gambino on guest vocals.

Co-penned by Scottish lass-o'-the-moment Emeli Sandé, the mid-tempo ballad sounds like it could be taken straight from Sandé's debut album "Our Version of Events." Regardless, Lewis' vocals deliver the song what it deserves - so we're expecting that it'll do good things for the troubled star (see what we did there?)

LEONA LEWIS COVERS CLASSICS IN "HURT: THE EP"

British pop star Leona Lewis is set to release Hurt: The EP in the coming days. The Bleeding Love singer will feature three tracks, all cover songs, in the release.

Official tracklist:

2. Iris (Goo Goo Dolls cover)
3. Colorblind (Counting Crows cover)

Lewis delivered one of the most controversional single releases this year - Collide - which featured a sample of Avicii's Penguin (later released as a vocal mix titled Fade Into Darkness). After months of speculation and Twitter rants, the single entered the UK chart at #4 only to disappear into nothingness weeks later.

After the dismal chart performance of Collide, the album, Glassheart, suffered a schedule push-back date of March 2012.

AVICII'S "LEVELS" VS FLO RIDA'S "GOOD FEELING" - YOU DECIDE!

Earlier this year Swedish DJ Avicii was caught in a very public battle with UK popstar Leona Lewis over the use of a sample from the DJs track Penguin for the singers single Collide. After a number of Twitter messages and out-of-courtroom discussions, Lewis' Syco label released the Collide single as a joint venture, "Leona Lewis / Avicii"

Weeks later after all the drama the single debuted at #4 in the UK and slowly but surely, disappeared dismally out of the charts.

Avicii went on to release a vocal edit of the original Penguin track, re-titled Fade Into Darkness. Whilst the track peaked at #4 in his Swedish homeland, it failed to do much elsewhere (reaching a measly peak of #196 in the UK).

Move forward a few months and I feel like we have a case of deja vu.

US rapper Flo Rida has just premiered the video for his new single Good Feeling, the lead from his upcoming fourth studio album Only One Rida (Part 2). The single features a typical Flo ensemble - the Florida native jamming in his In The Ayer kinda way, with a female vocalist belting away in the chorus (insert here Wynter Gordon/Ke$ha/Nelly Furtado/etc).

Where's the deja vu? Flo's Good Feeling samples Avicii's current hit, Levels.

Levels, which samples the Etta James classic Something's Got a Hold On Me, is Avicii's latest house number which has been circulating clubs worldwide for a number of weeks, maybe months now. Search over the ARIA Club Charts and you'll see that the track is sitting pretty at #1 in Australia, and has been for a few weeks.

So, does Flo have Avicii's permission this time or do we expect to see another Twitter battle of who owns what??? Who knows!

LEONA LEWIS DROPS COVER FOR "GLASSHEART"

After all of the dust has settled surrounding the Leona Lewis / Avicii drama, Collide, the collaboration between the two artists, was finally released this past weekend. In addition to the release Lewis has dropped the cover to her upcoming third album, Glassheart.

The album, scheduled for release 28 November, has the confirmed tracks Fire Flies, Blank Page, Sugar, Mountains and Trouble - with the latter two being co-penned by Heaven singer/songwriter Emeli Sandé.

Lewis has described the album as "more progressive", "more eclectic", "more uptempo" and "a bit darker." Glassheart itself takes its name "because it's about being fragile, but also open and honest". Oh bless.

[VIDEO PREMIERE] LEONA LEWIS / AVICII "COLLIDE"

Over the weekend the very beautiful Leona Lewis premiered the video for her "collaboration" with Swedish DJ Avicii, the track Collide.

Now whilst viewers in Australia and New Zealand can't view the original video due to YouTube copyright grounds, they can view a video featuring the almighty Afrojack remix. The remixed clip features the same footage as the original video anyway. So there.

Also announced, Lewis' third studio album titled Glass Heart, will be avaialble from 28 November.

[FRESH RELEASE] AVICII "FADE INTO DARKNESS"

Swedish DJ Avicii has released the video for his latest single, the track Fade Into Darkness featuring the vocal talents of Andreas Moe.

Listening to the track you'll be familiar with the sample (originally from Perpetuum Mobile by Penguin Cafe Orchestra) where it features in Leona Lewis' new single / collaboration with Avicii himself, Collide.

THAT SETTLES IT! LEONA LEWIS AND AVICII NO LONGER "COLLIDE"

After a very public match of who said what on Twitter, it seems as though the record companies supporting Leona Lewis and Avicii have finally come to an agreement on the debacle that was Collide vs Penguin (Fade Into Darkness).

On the 16 August Avicii tweeted:

"We've finally come to an agreement with Leona on all the issues. So happy to move on and focus on hit making!" Followed by: "Glad to FINALLY have resolved situation with Leona. Music is the answer!"

This essentially means he was paid a lot of money for the track, as well the right to have his name up in lights on the cover. We don't really care here, as long as the track gets released.

Whilst we wait for the single release and bathe in the controversy that is Leona Lewis' new single Collide, take a listen to the Afrojack remix that has been made available online. IT IS BRILLIANT.

LISTEN TO NEW LEONA LEWIS WITH "COLLIDE"

Winner of the 2006 X Factor series in the UK, Leona Lewis, has premiered her new single on BBC Radio 1, a track titled Collide.

The number, written by Sandy Vee and Autumn Rowe, showcases Lewis' unique vocal talents but displays a fresher side to her pop career as she moves away from the heart-broken ballads we've heard her do so well. The single samples Swedish DJ Avicii's track, Penguin [LISTEN]

Without releasing too many details behind the much anticipated third studio album from the English beauty, it has been confirmed that Lewis has worked with the likes of Ne-Yo, Claude Kelly and Ryan Tedder (of OneRepublic) for the release. In an interview with Hackney Citizen, Lewis described the album as "more progressive", "more eclectic", "more uptempo" and "a bit darker".
