Here I Am, Kelly Rowland's album showcasing the current singles Lay It On Me and Down For Whatever, is about to get a revamp. The international version, to be released late November, features the existing standard tracklist plus seven additional tracks.

All bar two are previous official or promo singles... so most fans would probably already have their hands on these. Sorry, no new material this time!

The additional tracks listed on the international edition:

  1. Heaven and Earth
  2. Each Other
  3. When Love Takes Over with David Guetta
  4. Rose Colored Glasses
  5. Motivation (Diplo Remix) feat. Lil Wayne
  6. Forever & A Day
  7. What A Feeling with Alex Gaudino

Here I Am (international version) will be released 28 November [iTunes]

Hot on the heels of the gorgeous video where Miss Kelly Rowland finds herself essentially straddled across loads of handsome and half-naked men in Lay It On Me (featuring Big Sean), Rowland is about to release Down For Whatever as the next international single from Here I Am.

Watch the video for Lay It On Me

The RedOne / The WAV.s produced track has had it's own video directed by fashion photographer Sarah Chatfield, who was also responsible for the videos for singles Motivation and Lay It On Me. If those pieces of artistic heaven were anything to go by, we're in for another sexy treat with the X Factor UK judge.

Down For Whatever is scheduled for release in the UK on 30 October, so stay tuned for more details on the video as they come about.

X Factor UK judge and all-round music goddess Kelly Rowland has premiered the video for her new single, the track Lay It On Me featuring Big Sean.

The Esther Dean co-penned track follows on from Rowland's Billboard top twenty hit Motivation, and the David Guetta produced Commander from 2010. All tracks appear on Rowland's third studio album, Here I Am.

If you thought Rowland's performance in her Motivation video was sex-driven, the clip for Lay It On Me takes Rowland's sex appeal to another level. Telling us exactly what she wants us to do she oozes  over gorgeous god-like men, Suzy the elephant (!) and a silver slinky (!!)

Whilst she tantalises the American market with her (somewhat-awesome-lacking) single Motivation featuring rapper Lil Wayne, Kelly Rowland continues to play with her UK/European market in her collaboration with Italian DJ Alex Gaudino. The single, What A Feeling, was originally released in mid March; however just now has a video for the track been released.

Ms Rowland looks mighty fine in her CFM boots and white shirt, showing the other homeboys on stage some serious dance moves. Seriously, I think some people underestimate how fine this girl really is. Damn!

We heart you Kelly Rowland. We heart you lots.

Whilst the track is not yet available for the Australian public to purchase digitally, great news is that as of this week it was sent to commercial radio - so expect a digital release soon!

Seems as though I'm the last blogger to post about Kelly Rowland and her latest video premiere, Motivation, which features (annoying and unnecessary) Lil Wayne. Somewhat deliberate in my delay, it's driven by the fact that Miss Rowland perplexes me with her music - as you would have read in my recent rant whilst praising her on the brilliant collaboration with Alex Gaudino.

Motivation fails to provide the dance floor vibe that When Love Takes Over and Commander delivered, however it does see Rowland get her sex on in a big way. Whilst I'm not really a fan of the track, she clearly looks like a frickin' honey.

Anyway, I shouldn't complain. If record executives only listened to my choice of music and singles we'd have Kylie Minogue release Get Outta My Way as her lead single from Aphrodite, complete with a digital  single and video at the point of which it was released to radio. God forbid that happen, Kylie may even have had some success with that single release! The very thought of it!!!

Aargh. Enjoy Motivation, below.

Thom-John pretending not to get an awesome profile pic. PS: he begged me to put this up.

After much consideration and deliberation, I have given in. Given in to my dog that is. My dog, Thomas-John (simply known to many as Thom-John, Thom-Thom, or just Thom), is a Maltese/Shitzu X that is feeling a little neglected when it comes to this blog. He's been questioning his level of involvement in articles published here, or simply lack there of.

So after much discussion, we've decided he's decided that the monthly blog post that was formerly known as the TOP FIVE KILLERS will now be known as THOM'S TOP TRACKS, with tracks/singles/songs that will be exclusively recommended by my awesome dog, Thom-John*

Each month Thom-John will have the ultimate call on what he believes to be the hottest new tracks to have found themselves in my our playlist.

So without future ado, I give you Thom's Top Tracks for March. I hope you like them as much as I do he does.

*That may or may not be the case. Just sayin'.

Well hello Miss Thang, my girl has been busy! Only a week or so ago did I give your ears a sweet little listen to Kelly Rowland's latest collaboration with Alex Gaudino, when another dance/club number finds it way onto the internet.

Free Fall is K Row's latest joint venture, this time with Danish DJ Rune RK. It's a pumpin' house number that will smash clubs world over. No official details on clips or release dates as of yet, but stay tuned for more. In the meantime, take a listen below.

BUT, before you do - talk about six degrees of seperation!

+ In 2003 Rune RK released a track called Calabria, his debut track under that name (he'd previously released material under the alias of Artificial Funk)

+ In 2007 the track was then mashed with Crystal Waters' 2003 sensation Destination Unknown by Italian DJ Alex Gaudino and released as the multi-platinum selling Destination Calabria

+ In 2011 Gaudino worked with Rowland to produce the yet-to-be-released single What A Feeling

+ And here we are again, in 2011 again and Rowland is now working with Rune RK!

Phew, that was tiring. Now listen to the track. Enjoy.

And Kelly Rowland is back!

Whilst you may say "she never left" - well she did, actually. If we go back to 2010 Kelly presented us with a fresh collaboration with David Guetta, otherwise known as Commander. It was a massive track (clearly, as it made my top 20 singles of 2010), and paved the way for what we assumed was going to be a great album release.

Umm, not the case. In fact we're still yet to see an album!!!

Kelly then delivered the singles Rose Coloured Glasses [VIDEO] Grown Woman [AUDIO] and more recently with Lil Wayne, Motivation [AUDIO]. Let's not forget her collaboration with Nelly, Gone [VIDEO]. Ugh. All tracks sound like they've been pulled out of some b-side album disposal from 2002.

(Ok, there was Forever and a Day which was good - I'll give her that! [VIDEO])

Hello? R&B and Hip-Hop has moved on people. No longer are we swinging our hips in a dirty R&B club to the likes of TLC or SWV (don't get me wrong - love those bitches); we're grinding our hips to something jacked up by Benny Benassi, Afrojack or of course, David Guetta. R&B and Hip-Hop music has taken a turn, and a turn for the better.

So before I go on a tirade about the David Guetta Apocalypse, let's move to Kelly's latest collaboration with Alex Gaudino - What A Feeling.

Alex came back to us last year with the track I'm In Love (I Wanna Do It) [VIDEO] -- another great song that made my Top 100 of 2010 -- a standard yet awesome house number that did quite well globally. Riding the success of that, he's employed the beautiful Miss Rowland to provide vocals on his new single.

What A Feeling is similar to I'm In Love (I Wanna Do It) in the fact it's another feel-good house number that'll have gay boys and dancing girls on podiums alike. It'll be a massive success in Europe (just 'cause), but unsure it'll do the same here in Australia - unless of course commercial radio jump on it. Let's wait and see.

The video is being filmed as we speak, but for now, enjoy the audio below. I love it - I'll be spinnin' this one for a while. Enjoy!

No word on a local release date as of yet, however visit Alex Gaudino's digital space to keep track of his release [ITUNES]

NB: I ain't no Kelly hater, in fact I love the girl - that is my dilemma! :)

Yes, actually I did just publish a video. Rose Coloured Glasses to be in fact. Seems as though Ms Kelly Rowland has been busy, as she's just released the video for her next single, Forever and a Day.

The song, a lot more "summery" than the R&B-esque Rose Coloured Glasses, will be served to the UK and European markets as her second single from her yet-to-named-or-released album. It's a very catchy pop tune, which features lots of dancing and carrying on like there's no tomorrow in the video.

For me, it's no where near as great as Commander, but hey, at least she's trying.

I still can't work out what went wrong in Australia with Kelly Rowland. Commander, the lead single off her third album, *should* have been a smash. Featuring David Guetta (who obviously produced the hit) the track was a club favourite everywhere. Throw the two of them together for When Love Takes Over and you have a hit that just won't leave the charts... yet the same production 6 months later and zilch. Ugh, it's so frustrating.

Anyway. Kelly has just launched the video to the next single, Rose Coloured Glasses, off her new album (yet to be named or have a release date, not good news). The video is good - lots of Kelly is gorgeous outfits... but the song, so-so (mind you, it's been circling the 'net for a few months now).

Will it give Kelly the chart success she should have received for Commander? Probably not. Damn is all I can say. Review the clip anyway and share your thoughts.

Australia's NERVO twins, Mim and Liv, can seem to do no wrong!

The Melbourne born girls started off as successful models with the Chadwick Models Agency, before setting their eyes on becoming talented songwriters, producers, remixers, DJ's and recording artists.
The girls penned the worldwide club smash When Love Takes Over by David Guetta feat. Kelly Rowland. The song, known and loved by all across the globe (unless you've been hiding under a rock... or in cave... or out at sea - you get the point) went to #1 in the UK and #6 in Australia, scoring platinum status (+70,000 copies sold).

Most recently they've co-written the loveable track Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) for Kylie Minogue's new album Aphrodite. If you ask me the track is 2010's version of Kylie's Love at First Sight - hot, hot, hot.

And of course I can't forget the endless volume of tracks they've written for artists such as Ke$ha, Pixie Lott, The Pussycat Dolls and many more.

Let's move forward to today - the girls have just joined forces in the studio with Andrew Klippel (ex-Euphoria for all you Love You Right fans) and Luke Steele (Empire of the Sun). Can't wait to hear the outcome of that session!

Here's a taste of their hot, hot, hot music - This Kind of Love feat. Ollie James which was released in April this year. Look forward to their new single, Irresistable, which should be released soon.

Much love.
