Whilst we all patiently await news on the where-abouts of Beyoncé's fifth studio album (titled 'Mrs Carter' if rumour has is right), it's time we checked out remixes for two of the promotional tracks to be lifted from the upcoming release.

Earlier this year Bey dropped the heavily hip-hop influenced 'Bow Down/I Been On' (which we're not really a fan of), but since then we've also been treated to the tropical jam 'Standing On the Sun' and pop gem 'Grown Woman'.

We've compiled some of the best mixes circling the 'net of the latter two for your listening pleasure - our favourites being the WaWa Club Mix of 'Standing On The Sun' and the Monsieur Adi Remix of 'Grown Woman'. Check 'em out below.

One of the best tracks to feature on Beyoncé's 4 album is the Diplo/The-Dream produced hit End Of Time. The hit, which is expected to have a video drop sometime in the coming weeks, has had a remix package unleashed via the pregnant mother's Soundcloud page.

End Of Time gets a thrashing by RedTop, Manny Lehman, WaWa and Wideboys; allowing almost everyone an opportunity to fall in love with one of the club mixes. Take a listen to the set below.

Thanks to Mike from Pop Trash Addicts we can confirm that the team from Sony Music Australia are set to release I Was Here as Beyoncé's fourth official Australian single from her 4 album.

The ballad, written by Diane Warren and co-produced by OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder, was sent to local radio last Monday. A slated digital single release (including cover work) is yet to surface.

Was it the best choice for the next single? We would have preferred Countdown or End Of Time....

Beyoncé has delivered yet another video as part of a her 4 campaign - this time the deluxe-edition track Dance For You, produced by The-Dream. This is the seventh video to be released by Mrs Jay-Z this year.

The video features a sultry-yet-sexy Bey using a dance routine (that can only be taken from Christina Aguilera's back catalogue) to remind her man (or a client) of what he got. Do we love it...? Hmmm. We'll let you decide.

Whilst the UK starts Beyoncé's Countdown and the US is invited to Beyoncé's Party, Australia gets a little Love On Top. The track, which was released as a promo single post Bey's performance at the MTV VMAs late August, has had its official cover art released.

Love On Top, which this week climbed into the top 20 on the ARIA Singles Chart, has already achieved gold accreditation status (35,00+), and certainly doesn't show any signs of slowing down in the near future.

As predicted earlier this week, Beyoncé has unveiled the video for her current Urban-promo single from her 4 album, the track Party. Unlike the album version which features André 3000, the single and video features US rapper J Cole.

Party is the sixth video to make it's way out of the current 4 campaign, do we expect to see more? Whilst Party is suited to the US market, I much prefer the previous two tracks to have videos published - Countdown and Love On Top.

What's your favourite video from Beyoncé this year?

After releasing a string of videos to match the various releases from her 4 album, Beyoncé drops the single cover and unveils a remix of her US Urban Chart release Party. The original album track featured Outkast's André 3000 on vocals, however the remix sees him replaced with rapper J Cole.

Watch the video premieres for Countdown and Love On Top

The video, which is expected to premiere this week, features a range of cameo appearances which include Bey's sister Solange Knowles and fellow Destiny's Child team member Kelly Rowland. Also to note, the clip was directed by Mamma Bey herself.

Mrs Jay-Z's latest digital release in Australia, Love On Top, was certified gold accreditation this week after peaking at #21 last week on the ARIA Singles Chart. It follows Run The World (Girls) and Best Thing I Never Had which have both been certified platinum in Australia.

Hot on the heels of premiering the video for Countdown, the third official single to be lifted from her 4 album, Beyoncé delivers another video to add to the collection - the single/promo track currently bouncing around the Australian charts, Love On Top.

Watch the video for Countdown

The video, an ode to Bey's love of Motown and boy band classics such as New Edition and The Jackson 5, is perfect fit for the feel of the song.

And I must say, after what was originally deemed a flop of a campaign, I think the 4 era is starting to pay off. Well done Mamma Bey.

Mamma2B Beyoncé has premiered the video for her third official single from her 4 album, the Boyz II Men sampling Countdown.

The video features a throw back to Audrey Hepburn in her 1957 film Funny Face, as well as what looks to be an ode to Bey in her Halo video or Jennifer Beals in Flashdance. In addition to these clips the video is full of clever editing and loads of fun.

In case you missed the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, some are saying this was the best year yet. Whilst none of the nights wins were real surprises, it was certainly a fun night.

Some of the non award highlights were:

+ Beyoncé announcing to the world that Jay-Z and her were expecting via the red carpet. Later on in the night Mama Bey belted out her 4 album track Love On Top and at the end of the number she rubbed her little belly. Oh, sweet.

+ Lady Gaga's male alter ego Jo Calderone opened the show performing Yoü and I (in a deep, male voice), and as the track came to an end he/she welcomed Queen's Brian May as he played on his guitar.

+ Adele performed her UK/Australian number one hit Someone Like You (which was breath-taking), so expect to see this sky-rocket to the top of the Billboard charts in the coming weeks.

On the night Katy Perry and Adele lead the way with three awards each, followed by Lady Gaga with two awards. For the complete list see here.

Some of the night's winners...
  • Video of the Year: Katy Perry, Firework
  • Best Female Video: Lady Gaga, Born This Way

Jay-Z's better half has released a video for the opening track off her 4 album, the power ballad 1+1.

Now you all know how much we love our Queen Beyoncé, but I have to say The-Dream produced track is definitely not one of the strongest from the 4 album. Regardless, enjoy the video below.

1+1 is taken from Beyoncé's fourth studio album 4, available digitally today [iTunes]

Full of power and beauty, Beyoncé covers the August/September edition of Complex magazine. As part of the cover story Queen B shares some insights on her world...

On wanting to bring back “old school” R&B with her new music:
“Figuring out a way to get R&B back on the radio is challenging. Everything sounds the same on the radio. With 4 I tried to mix R&B from the ’70s and the ’90s with rock ‘n’ roll and a lot of horns to create something new and exciting. I wanted musical changes, bridges, vibrata, live instrumentation, and classic songwriting.”

On being married to a rap genius:
“Jay’s music is more than music. His lyrics have fathered generations. All that he has overcome gives millions so much hope. There are moments when I see his lips moving and I can see lyrics floating above his head and I think, ‘Wow! How did I get so lucky to be able to witness this level of genius so closely?’”

On her legacy:

“I just want my legacy to be great music. Someone who was a risk taker and someone who had songs that struck conversation and emotion.”
You can read the interview and see all the shots at Complex online. Additionally, check out the behind the scenes footage of the shoot below.

Beyoncé has unveiled the video clip for the second single to be lifted off her 4 album, Best Thing I Never Had.

Following on from the single Run The World (Girls) which has had mixed results both critically and chart-wise, Beyoncé goes for a softer, mid-temmpo ballad hoping to secure her rights as Queen B. The track in itself has been praised by many, and after her outstanding Glastonbury performance last week, Best Thing I Never Had debuted at an impressive #3 in the UK.

The Diane Martel directed video features Beyoncé in a range of scenes and outfits - notably the gorgeous Victoria Secret-esque lingerie, and the other being an utterly-elegant wedding dress. Throughout the entire clip the beautiful woman before us is absolutely captivating.

Finally! In what feels like forever and a day, Beyoncé has released the video for her latest single, Run The World (Girls). Whilst we've been anxiously waiting, putting up with the various snippets of the clip that have been released over the last few weeks, Bey premiered the video clip during American Idol.

The clip features B looking hotter than ever, following on from Single Ladies (which has some of the best choreography of all time), she takes chorey to a whole other level. Bumpin', grindin', poundin', jackin'... she does it all. And with such FIERCE! (ok, gay-much)

And again, I'll reiterate my comments from last week - I don't care what the haters say, I think the track is brilliant. It's a bold move in a direction that steps outside of the norm; and any artist that can do that, look a million dollars, and still be on top - has my vote. Go Bey, you rock.

Beyoncé has just revealed the trailer to the Run The World (Girls) video clip - a longer version than what we've seen before (with two 30-second clips being released prior). The video is ripe with army themes... soldiers, propaganda, uniforms, and B!

Whilst the single isn't doing great things globally and is being tainted as a flop (so far only peaking at #11 in the UK, #12 in Australia and #33 in the US), I dig Bey's new concept, direction and sound. In fact, I applaud her for stepping out of the RedOne / Max Martin / Dr Luke standard pop zone that most artists lock in to. Run The World (Girls) is fresh, exciting, and certainly out of Bey's comfort zone.

In addition, Queen B has announced the title for her new album - aptly titled 4 - which she claims was actually titled by her fans. In an interview with Billboard she reveals:
“Everywhere I look, I see them calling it ’4,’ she explains. “I had a whole other name and concept, but I keep seeing that the fans love the name ’4,’ and I think it would be a really nice thing to let them name the record.”
The number four also holds personal significance for Beyoncé, and not just because her latest studio album will be her fourth as a solo artist. “We all have special numbers in our lives, and 4 is that for me,” she says. It’s the day I was born. My mother’s birthday, and a lot of my friends’ birthdays, are on the fourth; April 4 is my wedding date.”
