American pop-rock group Gym Class Heroes have their eyes on the number one position this week on the ARIA Singles Chart with their latest smash "Ass Back Home", featuring British singer-songwriter Neon Hitch.
If the boys manage to secure the top spot this week (to be confirmed upon the release of the ARIA Charts Sunday night), it will mark the first time the New York natives have done so here in Australia. Additionally, we'd also be the first country worldwide to honour Benny Blanco produced hit with the crown.
Gym Class Heroes are no strangers to our airwaves however with the album's lead single "Stereo Hearts", featuring Maroon 5 front-man Adam Levine, peaking at number four late last year.
Neon Hitch, the sassy lass who provides vocals for the tracks' chorus, has scored her first Australian chart appearance with the collaboration. What a treat it would be to see it reach the summit for the flame-haired doll.
Catch the release of the ARIA Charts Sunday night for more.
"Ass Back Home" feat. Neon Hitch is taken from the groups fifth studio album "The Papercut Chronicles II" - available today [iTunes]
