VANBOT PREMIERES NEW SINGLE "GOT TO GET OUT"

Swedish singer-songwriter Vanbot has returned to the pop spotlight, premiering her new single "Got To Get Out". The track is the first of new material for the talented popstar, following the success of her self-titled debut album last year.

Vanbot talked to Nylon Magazine about her inspiration for the track, "Got To Get Out" is about my hometown Stockholm and how it's filled with people experiencing a sense of isolation and separation, how it makes you feel lonely in a crowd," she explains. "It’s fascinating that people can live so close together without really noticing one another. It's about exploring the city nightlife and the tendencies people have to chase after the experiences that will cause the best story to tell the next day instead of enjoying the happiness of the moment."

PREVIEW NEW SKY FERREIRA WITH "RED LIPS"

American indie-pop starlet Sky Ferreira has given us a taste of her upcoming single "Red Lips." The track is the first of new material that is scheduled to appear on Ferreira's debut album, out sometime in 2012.

The track is very reminiscent of 90s indie-rock group Garbage, who coincidentally also are working on their next studio album. Take a listen below.

SAM SPARRO RETURNS WITH "HAPPINESS"

Australian singer-songwriter Sam Sparro is about to take the airwaves by storm with his latest piece of funk music, "Happiness". The track is the lead single lifted from Sparro's sophomore album "Return To Paradise".

A video for the track has been shot in Los Angeles and is expected shortly. Along with the clip a swag of remixes by Beni, Kim Anh x Small Pyramids, The Magician and Larry Heard/Mr Fingers are on their way.

The Sydney boy is currently in town gearing up for his Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras debut this weekend, “I don’t get nervous about many things, but I’m excited and nervous to lose my Mardi Gras virginity. I’ll be doing a couple of my own songs and a top secret tribute song,” he told the Star Observer.

Australian dance-pop outfit Radio Ink have premiered the video for their latest single, "Who We Are Tonight". The track, with it's catchy chorus and summer beats, proves that great Aussie pop music is out there - you just need to search through the rubbish to find it!

"Who We Are Tonight" was produced by New York-based Diamond Cut, and co-penned by Shelly Peiken (Jessie J's "Who You Are", The Veronica's "Hook Me Up") and Kool Kojak (Ke$ha's "Blow, Flo Rida's "Right Round").

American house DJ Morgan Page has premiered the video for his latest single "Body Work", featuring Canadian indie-pop twins Tegan and Sara. The single follows the club favourite "In The Air" which showcased the vocals of Scottish singer-songwriter Angela McCluskey.

Both tracks are lifted from Page's third studio album "In The Air", due April 3.

Overnight Madonna has revealed the lyric video for "Girl Gone Wild", the second single to be lifted from her upcoming "MDNA" album. The track follows the Billboard top ten hit "Give Me All Your Luvin'" feat. M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj.

Produced by Benny Benassi and Alle Benassi, "Girl Gone Wild" is a return to the club space, not to dissimilar from the Benassi produced "Celebration". The only gripe we have is that the Queen of Pop sounds slightly... bored on vocals...

The latest gal to join Alexis Jordan, Willow and Santigold in the Roc Nation family is twenty-one year-old Rita Ora.

Hailing from London (but born in Kosovo), the blonde-haired beauty has been on the lips of fans, critics and bloggers after featuring on the UK #1 track "Hot Right Now" with DJ Fresh. Now, it's time to take in some solo spotlight as Ora announces her debut single "How We Do (Party)".

The track screams top forty hit - it's catchy, very summery and easily likable. With early reviews comparing her to a fresh-faced Rihanna (that's pre-Chris Brown, y'all); there are definite high-hopes for the success of Jay-Z's latest protégée.

Rumoured to be working with the lass on her debut album are Stargate, The-Dream, Ester Dean and Drake. That's a nice combination that should make for a pretty good debut album.

Indie-pop superstar Marina & the Diamonds has released another buzz track from her upcoming sophomore album, the track "Homewrecker". Given away as a freebie from her website (to those with the code only, sorry!); the track is interesting taste of what's in store from "Electra Heart".

German DJ Paul van Dyk has unveiled "Verano", the first single to be lifted from the trance legends upcoming sixth studio album "Evolution". The track sees van Dyk collaborate with US producer Austin Leeds, and is a mix of his signature trance with progressive house.

Talking to Billboard van Dyk says "I need to evolve with the changes in music as it is my profession as a DJ," Paul stated. "However, it is up to me as an artist to decide if I think the music is something that is creatively interesting. "Evolution" is an album that demonstrates my personal evolution as an artist, rather than what is a reflection of the latest trendy sound. My advisors are saying it's the best music I've done."

English indie-pop trio Saint Etienne have premiered the video for "Tonight", the lead single to be lifted from their upcoming studio album "Words And Music By Saint Etienne".

The whole collaboration has caused a stir every which way possible; with fans, bloggers and even stars (catch the drama with Miranda Lambert? UK singer-songwriter Will Young has premiered the video for "Losing Myself", the third single to be lifted from his number one album "Echoes". The track was co-penned by Pascal Gabriel (Ladyhawke's "My Delerium", Kylie Minogue's "Can't Beat The Feeling").

The video features Young caught in an apparent ground-hog day, seemingly fighting with himself (or his clones) as he loses himself. It's a simple yet clever clip and quite fitting for the track (which just happens to be one of our favourites from the album!)

Aussie's Mathew Gill and John Courtidis make up Parachute Youth, a fresh reminder that some of the most exciting house music around the world comes out of this country.

Late last year the boys delivered their debut single "Can't Get Better Than This", a smooth and sexy deep house track that reminds listeners of artists like Miami Horror, Cut Copy and even Pnau. To add compliments to the track, the EP features a fantastic remix by yet another Australian DJ, Sam La More (listen here).

British band Coldplay has unleashed the video for "Charlie Brown", the third single to be taken from their fifth studio album "Mylo Xyloto".

The video features a young couple who steal a car all to see their idols (Coldplay, obviously) perform in an already over-crowded club. Yes, it's lovely and all - but let's just say it has nothing on the video for their previous single "Paradise".

Australia's new pop sweetheart Elen Levon is back with the follow up to her debut single "Naughty", the electro-pop jam "Like A Girl In Love". The track was produced by Rogue Traders' James Ash, and written by Melinda Appleby and Jamie Appleby.

The video features the almost-eighteen year-old looking more than fine on set in Cambodia, providing an unmistakable ethnic and exotic feel for the clip. "Like A Girl In Love" will be available from March 2 [iTunes]

[VIDEO PREMIERE] MARCUS COLLINS "SEVEN NATION ARMY"

X Factor UK runner up Marcus Collins has unleashed the video for his debut release, a cover of The White Stripes 2003 single "Seven Nation Army". The track has had a total make-over to showcase the openly gay singer's sensational voice, sounding more like a number from star Janelle Monáe than rocker Jack White.

Collins, who was mentored by Take That's Gary Barlow on the reality TV show, will release his debut album a week after the release of "Seven Nation Army'. The album will consist of nine original tracks, including the album's second official single titled "Mercy, Mercy".

[VIDEO PREMIERE] PAULINI "FIREMAN"

Fijian born, Australian based Paulini Curuenavuli, known simply as Paulini, is back storming clubs around Australia with her latest piece of infectious dance music, the track "Fireman".

Paulini talks about her inspiration for the track, “I was walking down the street in Brooklyn when a fire truck drove past with its sirens blaring and this group of women literally started screaming with excitement as these impressive firemen drove past. It made me think, ‘these guys are so well loved and are too often over-looked as heroes’. So I began writing a cheeky song to celebrate firemen worldwide, for all the ladies and lovers.”

And that she did. The track was produced by Alfred ‘The Angel’ Tuohey and Mimoza Blinsson, and features a video that boasts some of the hottest firemen you are ever going to see in your life. Tie that in with great choreography and you're going to need to sit down to watch the steamy clip.

[VIDEO PREMIERE] CHRIS BROWN "TURN UP THE MUSIC"

American recording artist Chris Brown has premiered the video for "Turn Up The Music", the lead single to be taken from his forthcoming studio album "Fortune".

The clip, directed by Godfrey Taberez and Brown, clearly pays homage to Brown's idol Michael Jackson. The tattooed star's choreography is really second to none as he moves-and-grooves his way through the local party scene in the clip.

Whilst Rihanna's ex has been in the tabloids for a variety of reasons that are far from ideal, if we focus on his ability to record infectious tracks with killer dance moves, you can't deny that the boy has talent.

New Zealand born, UK based Pip Brown, aka Ladyhawke, has released the video for "Black, White & Blue", the lead single from her sophomore album "Anxiety".

The video is directed by Tabitha Denholm (Florence + the Machine's "Cosmic Love") and is a re-creation of the 1978 film "Eyes of Laura Mars" which starred actors Faye Dunaway and Tommy Lee Jones.

American DJ Kaskade has unveiled not one, but two videos for the latest installment in his singles collection, "Room For Happiness" featuring singer-songwriter Skylar Grey.

If you're familiar with the acclaimed DJ's discography you'll know his latest album "Fire & Ice" features both dance (fire) and chill-out (ice) versions of each track - hence supporting two separate videos for the current release.

"Room For Happiness" is the third single from the LP and was penned by the Californian native, Grey, Finn Bjarnson and John Hancock. It follows the previous releases "Eyes" (feat. Mindy Gledhill) and "Turn It Down" (feat. Swedish stars Rebecca & Fiona).

US rapper Tramar Dillard, aka Flo Rida, has premiered the video for his latest smash hit, "Wild Ones" featuring Australia's own Sia on vocals.

The track, with it's video unfortuantely sans Sia, is the second single to be lifted from the artists fourth studio album "Only One Rida (Part 2)", following the Avicii and Etta James sampled "Good Feeling".

The Axwell produced "Wild Ones" spends a fifth week at number one on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart this week whilst notching up double platinum sales status (140,000+ copies sold).

KATY PERRY PREPARES FOR GLOBAL CHART TAKE-OVER WITH NEW SINGLE "PART OF ME"

Last week Katy Pery premiered the first single to be lifted from her "Teenage Dream" re-release, "Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection", the Dr Luke and Max Martin produced "Part Of Me".

The single, which originally leaked in demo format back in 2010, was released to the general public after her great Grammys performance and has been atop the iTunes downloads charts since.

Today Billboard announced the track is likely to be the highest/fastest selling single since Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" this time last year. The Billboard team are predicting that by week end sales "Part Of Me" will have shipped anywhere from 400,000 to 420,000 copies (in comparison to Gaga's 448,000).

Here in Australia the track debuted at #22 on the ARIA Singles Chart after only part-week sales, and has been sitting quite comfortably in the top three downloads on iTunes all week. Yet another smash hit from the never-ending "Teenage Dream" era, we think so.

LISTEN TO NEW MONICA AND BRANDY WITH "IT ALL BELONGS TO ME"

It's been a while since US singers Monica and Brandy took the world by storm with their R&B masterpiece that was "The Boy Is Mine" - fourteen years in fact. The track, which turned out to be one of the biggest selling singles of the decade, is easily one of the most recognised anthems of the '90s.

In addition, it's been a while since the girls made waves with any of their solo material. Whilst "The Boy Is Mine" LP produced three Billboard Hot 100 number one hits for Monica in 1998 ("The First Night", "Angel Of Mine" and the title track), she's only had one top ten hit since (2003's "So Gone" from her "After The Storm" album).

Brandy has shared a similar fate with "Never Say Never" producing two Billboard Hot 100 number one hits ("Have You Ever" and "The Boy...") and only one top ten hit four years later with "What About Us" (taken from "Full Moon").

So, you might assume that the girls are looking for a golden comeback with their latest collaboration of "It All Belongs To Me".

Rico Love, who produced track, has been quoted as saying "It’s a very soulful R&B song with pop sensibilities. I wanted to make sure I made it a classic R&B record, but I definitely wanted to make sure that it had enough appeal to cross over and become a Top 40 record."

LISTEN TO NEW NICKI MINAJ WITH "STARSHIPS"

After many a promo/buzz tracks ("Stupid Hoe", "Roman In Moscow", "Va Va Voom"), Trinidadian-American star Nicki Minaj has unveiled the lead single to be taken from her "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" LP, the euro-trash piece "Starships".

The track, produced by RedOne, Carl Falk (Darren Hayes, Nicole Scherzinger) and Rami Yacoub (One Direction, Britney Spears), is a far cry from Minaj's mixtape days of traditional hip-hop. The single sounds more like a pop-dance number than any of previous material, which we're sure will divide old school fans of the Barbie-like star.

MTV caught up with RedOne to talk through his working experience with Minaj: "Working with Nicki is amazing, 'cause she's so talented," he said. "There's nothing that inspires me more than raw, really good talent, big talent. I see that in Nicki, and of course, she's proven to be who she is. For me, [it was] a beautiful experience. There's a lot of love there. We respect each other a lot, and I think it's really key. We've done a few songs, and I think it's going to be very, very special. I'm excited."

The glamorous Marina & the Diamonds has announced via Twitter the release of her latest single "Primadonna", the lead track to be lifted from her highly-anticipated sophomore album release "Electra Heart". The single is due to hit the shelves from April 16.

In addition to the new single announcement, Marina has confirmed that the album will available from April 30. So far the confirmed tracks are:

GOTYE TAKES THE WORLD BY STORM WITH "SOMEBODY THAT I USED TO KNOW"

Australia's own Wally De Backer, aka Gotye, is taking the world by storm with his ARIA winning, 8x platinum accredited, "Somebody That I Used To Know" featuring Kimbra.

The track, which was the highest selling single by an Australian artist in 2011, has gained more traction on this week's Billboard charts jumping up a further place to #26 on the Billboard Hot 100. Additionally, last week in the UK the track ascended from number eight to the coveted top spot - making the UK the tenth country worldwide to do honour Triple J Hottest 100 2012 winner..

Meeting with MTV, Gotye talks about the outstanding pop track"Somebody That I Used to Know, like a lot of the record, was a bit of a struggle to finish. There were constant hurdles."

After the leaks, the teasers and the torment; Madonna has finally premiered the video for "Give Me All Your Luvin'" feat. Nicki Minaj and M.I.A.

The clip, which holds a Superbowl theme with it's players and cheerleaders, sees Madge take a light-hearted approach to her profession. With it's sly digs and messages that clearly warn other pop-wannabes that she ain't losing her Pop Queen crown without a fight, Madonna manages to deliver one of the best videos we've seen in a long time.

This "MDNA" era, with it's production by William Orbit and Martin Solveig, could really be one of the best we've seen from the "W./E." director in a long time... and we're pretty excited about it.

[VIDEO PREMIERE] ADAM LAMBERT "BETTER THAN I KNOW MYSELF"

American singer-songwriter Adam Lambert has premiered the video for "Better Than I Know Myself", the lead single to be taken from the artists up-coming sophomore album "Trespassing".

The clip finds Lambert is a world where his 'good' self vs his 'bad' self fighting it out until one reigns supreme - quite a fitting clip for the Dr Luke/Cirkut/Ammo produced track. Who wins? Watch the video to find out.

COVER DRIVE CLAIM THE UK #1 WITH "TWILIGHT"

Four-piece Bajan group Cover Drive have scored themselves a number one hit in the UK this week with their single "Twilight".

The group; consisting of lead singer Amanda Reifer, T-Ray Armstrong, Barry 'Bar-Man' Hill, Jamar Harding; hit the coveted top spot knocking off Jessie J who spent two weeks at the summit with "Domino".

The track, produced by Quiz & Larossi (The Saturdays, Pussycat Dolls), follows on from the groups debut single "Lick Ya Down" which peaked just inside the top ten at number nine back in August.

Cover Drive's debut album is set to be released sometime in 2012. "Twlight" is available today (UK) [iTunes]

The gorgeous Rebecca Ferguson has premiered the video for "Too Good To Lose", the second single to be lifted from her debut LP "Heaven".

[VIDEO PREMIERE] DAVID GUETTA "TURN ME ON" FEAT. NICKI MINAJ

French DJ David Guetta has premiered the video for "Turn Me On" featuring Nicki Minaj, the fifth single to be lifted from his multi-platinum selling record "Nothing But The Beat" (sixth if you include "Sweat" with rapper Snoop Dogg).

The clip features Minaj as one of Guetta's creations (think Pinocchio to Geppetto, the monster with no name to Dr Frankenstein - you catch our drift); yet somewhat more beautiful than those created before. It's an interesting clip, and we must say, it's nice to see Minaj pull not so many faces for a change.
