[LISTEN] VISITOR UNLEASH THEIR "COMING HOME / RNB" EP

Aussie electro-pop outfit Visitor (aka Lucas & Kyle) are preparing fans for the release of their upcoming EP "Coming Home / RNB," featuring tracks of the same name.

Based in London but from down-town Melbourne, the duo's sound is not to dissimilar to The Sound Of Arrows, Hurts, and a whole other range of beautifully dreamy Swedish pop music. So knowing that, you can imagine how excited we are for the release of their full album sometime in the near future.

Over the past few weeks the boys have been releasing tracks via Soundcloud that are associated with the "Coming Home / RNB" EP, and in the last few days they've just unleashed the Lifelike remix of "Coming Home" ... and it's magical. You can take a listen via the EP below, which includes the Lifelike remix.

The "Coming Home / RNB" EP will be available from 10 September.

[LISTEN] CARMEN SMITH LAUNCHES WITH "THEY DON'T KNOW ME"

We fell in love with The Voice Australia contestant Carmen Smith the moment we saw her perform with Guy Sebastian at his show at Upstairs at The Beresford earlier this year. Right then and there we knew this girl was going to be a force to be reckoned with, and boy were we right.

Whilst the talented star may have been disqualified from the television competition, Smith continued to pursue her love of music and her solo career. Whilst she teased fans with a free download of the track "Polaroid," it's her current single "They Don't Know Me" that we've been patiently waiting for.

"They Don't Know Me" is an uptempo funk track that showcases Smith's brilliant vocal talent, as well as being damn hot and totally infectious. The track features as part of a four-track EP that is due to hit iTunes today. Until then, watch the video premiere below.

[LISTEN] EVERMORE RETURN WITH "FOLLOW THE SUN"

New Zealand bred, Australian based band Evermore has revealed "Follow The Sun," the lead single to be taken from the group's upcoming fourth studio album of the same name.

The track is in true Evermore style and should please fans of the band who've followed them since their 2004 debut album "Dreams." The only problem is, it's so much like their previous work, it's not really that new. Take a listen below and you be the judge.

THE SCRIPT SCORE ANOTHER ARIA TOP TEN WITH "HALL OF FAME" FEAT. WILL.I.AM

Over the weekend Irish pop-rock group The Script have debuted with another ARIA top ten hit, their latest single "Hall of Fame." The track landed at #7 on the ARIA Singles Chart, and is the group's second highest peaking single, behind "Breakeven" which peaked at #3 back in 2008.

The track, which features the vocals of will.i.am, is the lead single from the band's third studio album "#3," out later this year.

[LISTEN] NELLY FURTADO REVEALS NEW SINGLE "PARKING LOT"

Canadian singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado has dropped the third single from her upcoming album "The Spirit Indestructible," the mid-tempo track "Parking Lot." The single follows the album's title track and "Big Hoops (The Bigger The Better)."

"Parking Lot," produced by Darkchild, is as close to Furtado and "Loose" as anyone is gonna get. On saying that, it's still completely different and unconditionally brilliant. Even though the 33 year-old is failing to commercially hit the mark with this set of singles, she still chooses her own path by sticking to her guns and releasing music that is like nothing else on the radio. We dig it.

(Yes, "dig" is back in).

US country (and now pop) starlet Taylor Swift has premiered her new single "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," the lead from her upcoming fourth studio album "Red." Swift made both announcements and revealed the audio of the track via a YouTube session earlier today.

The future hit takes Swift down the path of pop music rather than country, one that will either excite or disappoint her fans. It's a logical transition, one that we think is a brave and wise move. The blonde bombshell has been approaching the pop space for some time now, so it's only fair she jumps right in on her new release.

In addition, and more of a confirmation that she's ready to take the plunge into the commercial market that is pure pop music, Swift has collaborated with Max Martin for her upcoming album release (he co-penned "We Are Never..." along with Shellback)!

UK girl group Parade (Emily Biggs, Lauren Deegan, Bianca Claxton, Jessica Agombar and Sian Charlesworth) are preparing to return to the musical spotlight with one of this year's most infectious pop tracks, "Light Me Up."

After jumping back in the studio post their self-titled debut album, they quintet have been busy working with a range of pop hit-makers for their sophomore release - names such as Tim Powell, Ed Drewett and MNEK, with Powell producing and co-penning "Light Me Up" with the girls.

Hip hop star Nicki Minaj has premiered the video for the international follow up to her platinum-selling single "Starships," the RedOne and Carl Falk produced "Pound the Alarm."

Whilst we've commented before on how "Pound the Alarm" sounds like "Starships" v2, we must say the Carnival-themed video clip adds some visual stimulation and makes the track just that little bit more bearable. Of course, we're comparing it to the clip for it's predecessor in which Minaj is bikini-clad on a deserted beach.
