And she does it, AGAIN! Katy Perry scores another Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit with her latest single, E.T. featuring Kanye West. Billboard.com have just released a statement ahead of this weeks chart that E.T. pushes Lady Gaga's six-week #1 hit, Born This Way, back to #4.

Perry's Teenage Dream is the ninth album in the 52 year history of the Billboard charts to produce four #1 singles. The last time a female solo artist achieved this feat was Mariah Carey with her self-titled LP in 1009/91.

Earlier today I talked to my soft spot for Benny Benassi, and how surprised I was that I actually liked something Chris Brown put his name too. Well, the collaboration between the two gentlemen that I've found myself engaged in is Beautiful People, Brown's official single from his F.A.M.E album.

Beautiful People sees the once unilkely couple (although since the David Guetta-Black Eyed Peas combo a few years back it's no longer a surprise to see house DJs working with hip-hop/R&B artists) get together to produce a electro house / pop number that has already found itself inside the ARIA top ten here in Australia.

And the video - it features a range of footage taken from personal recordings of Brown with his entourage (dance crew The Rejectz) and cameos from various recording artists including Timbaland, Estelle, Pharrell, Diddy, Brandy and more. Whilst it's lurverly seeing all his peeps, the video is pretty bo-ring. Go ahead and watch though, as the track is good! Enjoy.

The boys known as Above & Beyond are back with a new single and new album. The single, Sun & Moon, was leaked almost three months ago; however it's only in the last few weeks that the official video clip was released.

The uplifting vocal trance number won't displease any of A&B's fans. Featuring Richard Bedford on vocals it instantly takes you away to a dark yet comfortable place, that of which you're following the lead of this well-established group. A group who have been around since the year 2000.

Whilst the track is not new in any shape, as I mentioned above, it's only just found it's way into my music collection... and let's just say I've been enjoying it immensely. Listening to A&B still to this day reminds me my early days as a young clubber partying away at 5am... losing my mind to the likes of Kosheen, iiO, 4 Strings... oh dear...

I digress. Sun & Moon is taken from Above & Beyond's latest album, Group Therapy, to be released sometime in 2011.

Benny Benassi has dropped the video for his latest single of his 2010 album, Spaceship. The track, titled Cinema, features the vocals of UK pop star Gary Go.

Cinema may not be as strong and captivating as it's predecessors (the title track, Spaceship, which featured Kelis, apl.de.ap and Jean Baptiste; and Electroman, which featured T-Pain), but on saying that I still rate it. I've actually had a bit of a soft spot for Benassi since Satisfaction in 2002... my God, that was nearly 10 years ago.

Speaking off having a soft spot, who'd have thought that I'd like something Chris Brown put his name to, but alas, his recent collaboration with Benassi is a good piece of music. Of course I'm talking about Beautiful People, the latest single off Chris Brown's F.A.M.E album - I'll give you more on that track soon.

For now, enjoy Cinema.

It seems there may be hope for Nicole Scherzinger's solo career in Australia yet! Whilst I'm a massive supporter of the stunner (have been since The Pussycat Dolls days - gay), my fellow Aussie's have been somewhat lax in getting on board with her last single, Poison.

Released in this week's "most added to radio" report via The Music Network, Scherzy's second single, the UK #1 Don't Hold Your Breath, was the forth most added track to radio - and that's without the song being officially sent to stations by Universal! Apparently the Nova network starting playing DHYB on the back of it's great success on the UK charts... love it!

Universal reportedly will be sending DHYB through to radio stations this week, with a digital release expected in the coming week(s).

Thom-John pretending not to get an awesome profile pic. PS: he begged me to put this up.

After much consideration and deliberation, I have given in. Given in to my dog that is. My dog, Thomas-John (simply known to many as Thom-John, Thom-Thom, or just Thom), is a Maltese/Shitzu X that is feeling a little neglected when it comes to this blog. He's been questioning his level of involvement in articles published here, or simply lack there of.

So after much discussion, we've decided he's decided that the monthly blog post that was formerly known as the TOP FIVE KILLERS will now be known as THOM'S TOP TRACKS, with tracks/singles/songs that will be exclusively recommended by my awesome dog, Thom-John*

Each month Thom-John will have the ultimate call on what he believes to be the hottest new tracks to have found themselves in my our playlist.

So without future ado, I give you Thom's Top Tracks for March. I hope you like them as much as I do he does.

*That may or may not be the case. Just sayin'.

Well hello Miss Thang, my girl has been busy! Only a week or so ago did I give your ears a sweet little listen to Kelly Rowland's latest collaboration with Alex Gaudino, when another dance/club number finds it way onto the internet.

Free Fall is K Row's latest joint venture, this time with Danish DJ Rune RK. It's a pumpin' house number that will smash clubs world over. No official details on clips or release dates as of yet, but stay tuned for more. In the meantime, take a listen below.

BUT, before you do - talk about six degrees of seperation!

+ In 2003 Rune RK released a track called Calabria, his debut track under that name (he'd previously released material under the alias of Artificial Funk)

+ In 2007 the track was then mashed with Crystal Waters' 2003 sensation Destination Unknown by Italian DJ Alex Gaudino and released as the multi-platinum selling Destination Calabria

+ In 2011 Gaudino worked with Rowland to produce the yet-to-be-released single What A Feeling

+ And here we are again, in 2011 again and Rowland is now working with Rune RK!

Phew, that was tiring. Now listen to the track. Enjoy.

It is like a gift from the Goddess herself - Kylie Minogue has posted a lyric video to Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) on her YouTube site. No, it's not the standard mix you'll find off her successful Aphrodite album, it's the Pete Hammond mix (Pete Hammond being one of the old PWL guys).

The Nervo penned track mixed by Pete is the closest we'll ever get to a Kylie track from her old Stock Aitken and Waterman days. After listening to the mix it feels as though I've just stumbled upon a old cassingle or 7" in my record collection. Oh my, I think I'm in love.

Kylie - thanks for my birthday present. Love you too honey x

I can't begin to tell you how excited I am about the month of March. Apart from the obvious reasons like, ahem, it's someone pretty awesome's birthday (I'll give you a hint: ME, and it's today even!); March has produced some pretty amazing findings for my music collection.

I've discovered albums that are produced by brilliant singer/songwriters like Clare Maguire; been tainted by the beauty and talent of young Yasmin; and of course, finally got my hands on the outstanding follow up to a sensational debut album - Adele's 21.

So, let's talk about my next discovery. Welcome, Gypsy & the Cat.

Gypsy & the Cat are made up of two wonderful boys by the names of Xavier Bacash and Lionel Towers, who both hail from Melbourne. Over the last twelve months they have had a pretty whirlwind period which includes the following achievements:

+ Relocating to London, the boys were signed with UK record label Young & Lost
+ Their debut album, Gilgamesh, was produced by David Fridmann (producer for MGMT, Flaming Lips) and Rich Costey (producer for Muse, Franz Ferdinand)
+ They earned a nomination for the Triple J Unearthed J Award in 2010, narrowly missing out to Boy & Bear
+ Their first demo, Jona Vark, was picked up by Triple J and landed in at #64 on the Triple J Hottest 100 for 2010
+ Gilgamesh debuted in the top twenty in the ARIA Albums Charts late last year

AND - did I mention that these boys are only 21 years old? Same age as me!*

* so maybe I'm just a little older... shut up.

The sound of Gypsy & the Cat is a little bit of Empire of the Sun, with added acoustic folk. It's a little dream-synth, with added electro funk. And if you ask me, it's certainly a great sound - let's just say it's very 2011. Talking of very 2011, the guys have just been announced as Kylie Mingoue's support act for her Aphrodite Les Folies Tour 2011 here in Australia!

Whilst I'm yet to listen to the album in full, after hearing Jona Vark, Time to Wander and The Piper's Song; I like. I've attached a soundcloud set below for you to preview some of the tracks from the album...

Gilgamesh clips by Gypsy & The Cat

I think we have a winner here people... WINNING!

A video for Jona Vark was recently shot and released online only in the last couple of weeks (below). Take a listen and tell me your thoughts - do you like?

Hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg seems to be following suit in taking a journey down the house music road. Following in the footsteps of a variety of hip-hip, rap and R&B stars like the Black Eyed Peas and Chris Brown; Snoop has employed the talents of David Guetta to remix his 2010 single Wet.

The single, originally produced by The Cataracs (think Like a G6 with Far East Movement), was released in December 2010 and barely made an impact on the charts, anywhere. Enter Mr Guetta and three months later we have an immediate hit. Sweat (David Guetta Remix) is currently top twenty in the UK and top ten in Australia. The track is so hot here in Oz that it was the most added track to Australian radio last week, and as we speak, it's challenging Jennifer Lopez's On The Floor for the iTunes #1 downloaded track.

The video (below) is essentially a remixed version of Snoop's original Wet video - it's full of tramps, whores and two-bit hookers. But hey, who am I to judge. In fact, I may go as far as saying I think I even like it.

Hell - anything is better than than God forsaken piece of trash aka Friday by Rebecca Black (and that my dear friends, will be the last time I mention that bloody song!)

Two of Australia's hottest DJs, Sam La More (Paradise, I Wish It Could Last) and Groove Terminator (The Sunshine Song) make up duo Tonite Only. You'll know the boys from their previous work either separately or together, but regardless of how you know them, one thing is consistent - these boys are all about good tunes.

Tonite Only's latest track ,We Run The Nite, is nothing short of a club anthem. As we speak it's racing up the ARIA Club Charts (currently sitting at #4), and I'm pretty confident that we'll see it hit the coveted top spot in the next month.

It's great to see the boys come back with a hot track (after their decision in '06 to split and focus on their solo careers - rude). We Run The Nite has club hit of 2011 written all over it.

Now, get out there and shake your ass a little. Enjoy.

And it's official - my honey Wynter Gordon will be releasing the track Til Death as her official second single here in Australia. The follow up to the Australian 3x platinum selling single Dirty Talk was produced by our very own Nick Littlemore of Empire of the Sun.

Set to be released to radio (and subsequently digital sales) on April 11, clearly it'll be picked up and exhausted til death (pardon the pun). Dirty Talk was such an unexpected-yet-happily-received hit here that I can already see it aiding Wynter's successful take-over of this country.

Stay tuned for more details on the official release, including the video.

CAN'T WAIT!

You know how much I love my new music, so look what I've just laid my hands on. StooShe are three very talented chicks from London who have just released the video for their debut single, Fuck Me.

The track is quite good - actually, it's better than quite good, it's very good. It has a catchy vibe to it that's complimented with a raw sound. It's not over-processed or plastic, and from my point of view, it has a lot of potential.

Better yet, it certainly makes me want to keep following these birds for a further taste o' what they got. Aight.

Check it out and let me know your thoughts...

Oh, the dilemma I have with the Black Eyed Peas.

Before I start, I don't think anyone can argue with the fact that will.i.am has done wonders for the world of R&B/hip-hop. He's turned a whole music genre completely upside-down with his work with David Guetta, transforming R&B/hip-hop into a dance phenomena - hard beats, house music and electronic sounds. There has never been such a mix in music styles... what constitutes as R&B? Or pop? Or house? Or hip-hop? Oh dear. That's a whole blog post there in itself.

Anyway. So my dilemma is - how far is too far? The E.N.D, the Black Eyed Peas previous album, was clearly a genre defining moment. As well as that, it was a generational defining moment. I Gotta Feeling [VIDEO] was the biggest selling single of last decade... globally mind you! When you hear it you can't help but get goosebumps from the immediate joy you get from that song. That, my dear friends, is brilliant music.

Of course The E.N.D also spawned the singles Boom Boom Pow [VIDEO], Meet Me Halfway [VIDEO], Rock That Body and Imma Be [VIDEO]. Some of those are questionable tracks, but even still, defining in their own way.

The follow up album, The Beginning, brought us the lead single The Time (Dirty Bit) [VIDEO] - a mashed up cover of the Bill Medley and Jennifer Warne track from the Dirty Dancing soundtrack. The track was so ripped apart and bass-bumped all over it almost sounded uncomfortable. The video, not bad, but the track? Oh God. All I can do is apologise to all those Dirty Dancing lovers out there who are still trying to recover from the mess that was that track.

But alas, we have a saviour. That saviour is Just Can't Get Enough. Very similar to material from The E.N.D, Fergie swoons away (looking a million dollars in the clip) in a number that is much more pleasant to the ears. In this track all BEP crew members get to participate too, including poor Taboo who normally gets shoved to the side.

And so for the video. It was shot in Tokyo (prior to the devastating earthquake and following tsunami), and so Team BEP have dedicated this clip to the people of Japan. Well done team. I should also recognise that the video is actually quite good. Simple as it shows off the neon Tokyo, with Fergie looking absolutely glamorous, and the remainder of the BEP enjoying their time singing away.

Much better I say, much better. Enjoy.

Enjoy.

By now you would have seen/read/heard about the article and subsequent photos that will appear in the April edition of Out Magazine. It's their Ladies We Love edition, featuring two svery pecial covers. One is Miss Britney Spears, the other, Queen of Pop herself, Madonna.

The rare photos of her Madgeness are part of an unseen collection of shots taken by Richard Corman in New York City back in 1982. That's nearly 30 years ago people! These shots (some of which you can preview online) show the raw talent at a very early stage. Of the shoot, Corman says:

"She was like the Pied Piper of the neighborhood -- [the kids] loved her. They followed her, they danced with her, they sang with her. It was something they did on a daily basis, and it was remarkable. We just walked up and they gathered around. She put the boom box on -- it was her music, though I don’t remember which song -- and they just started dancing and singing. She was so alive and unpretentious. She was fierce, determined. Nothing was going to stop her."
You can check out more of Corman's account of the photo session on the Out website, which also includes a whole range of photos never seen before. Brilliant.

My honey Nicole Scherzinger teamed up with Orange (UK) to complete an acoustic set of tracks which includes her singles Poison, Don't Hold Your Breath and the Pussycat Dolls' tracks Stickwitchu and I Hate This Part.

This woman is underrated and clearly brilliant. I've included the video for I Hate This Part below (as it's one of my favourite PCD tracks), and you can see the Poison here [VIDEO]. Unfortunately the other videos are only available to Orange users in the UK!

Love it. Go Scherzy.

Talk about HOT.

It seems as though new talent is everywhere at the moment. There'll be periods of time when the music world is absolute crap and we're dying for something or someone fresh, new, exciting and full of life. Apparently however, now is not that time - and alas, we venture to the northern hemisphere once again for our next talented artist.

All the way from the UK, welcome, Yasmin.

Yasmin is a 22 year-old singer-songwriter/DJ who first found fame DJ'ing across London a few years ago in a variety of clubs and shows. After supporting UK artist Example on his tour last year alongside fellow artist Devlin, Yasmin pursued a solo career. Prior to that she collaborated with Devlin on his top 20 UK hit Runaway [VIDEO].
Yasmin kicked off her solo career in January with her debut single On My Own [VIDEO] - a good track which reminds me a lot of early Massive Attack. Great sound and equally great vocals. The track achieved top 40 status in the UK.

Finish Line is Yasmin's follow up single, which will be released in the coming weeks. From my point of view it has mega-hit plastered all over it. It's catchy and fresh, and shows off all of Yasmin's talents - both vocally and visually... the girl is absolutely stunning.

But wait, there's more. Not content with how great Finish Line is already? Well, let me introduce you to the Freemasons Remix. "No, not again" I hear you say? Yes - the boys have done it again.

The Freemasons Remix takes a great track and turns it into an ah-mah-zing track. The boys do for Yasmin what they did for Kelly Rowland in Work - some slight movement with just enough pa-pow to make you wanna listen to it non-stop for a number of hours (which may or may not be what I have done).

Because I'm super cool and super nice, I've included both videos for you to view. You'll see what I mean. In the interim, listen and look out for this girl - I'm very impressed with what I've seen so far - and I think 2011 is going to be a good year for Yasmin. Enjoy and much love.

And Kelly Rowland is back!

Whilst you may say "she never left" - well she did, actually. If we go back to 2010 Kelly presented us with a fresh collaboration with David Guetta, otherwise known as Commander. It was a massive track (clearly, as it made my top 20 singles of 2010), and paved the way for what we assumed was going to be a great album release.

Umm, not the case. In fact we're still yet to see an album!!!

Kelly then delivered the singles Rose Coloured Glasses [VIDEO] Grown Woman [AUDIO] and more recently with Lil Wayne, Motivation [AUDIO]. Let's not forget her collaboration with Nelly, Gone [VIDEO]. Ugh. All tracks sound like they've been pulled out of some b-side album disposal from 2002.

(Ok, there was Forever and a Day which was good - I'll give her that! [VIDEO])

Hello? R&B and Hip-Hop has moved on people. No longer are we swinging our hips in a dirty R&B club to the likes of TLC or SWV (don't get me wrong - love those bitches); we're grinding our hips to something jacked up by Benny Benassi, Afrojack or of course, David Guetta. R&B and Hip-Hop music has taken a turn, and a turn for the better.

So before I go on a tirade about the David Guetta Apocalypse, let's move to Kelly's latest collaboration with Alex Gaudino - What A Feeling.

Alex came back to us last year with the track I'm In Love (I Wanna Do It) [VIDEO] -- another great song that made my Top 100 of 2010 -- a standard yet awesome house number that did quite well globally. Riding the success of that, he's employed the beautiful Miss Rowland to provide vocals on his new single.

What A Feeling is similar to I'm In Love (I Wanna Do It) in the fact it's another feel-good house number that'll have gay boys and dancing girls on podiums alike. It'll be a massive success in Europe (just 'cause), but unsure it'll do the same here in Australia - unless of course commercial radio jump on it. Let's wait and see.

The video is being filmed as we speak, but for now, enjoy the audio below. I love it - I'll be spinnin' this one for a while. Enjoy!

No word on a local release date as of yet, however visit Alex Gaudino's digital space to keep track of his release [ITUNES]

NB: I ain't no Kelly hater, in fact I love the girl - that is my dilemma! :)

This track has been a club favourite of mine over the last couple of months - in fact, it's not often I don't love any of Eric Prydz's work. Call On Me [VIDEO], Proper Education [VIDEO] and Pjanoo [VIDEO] are club favourites of mine and many across the globe.

On top of his brilliant solo work, let's not forget to mention his remix work for Axwell, Shapeshifters, Faithless and Calvin Harris - and that's just looking at the last couple of years. Prydz has been remixing since 2002!

Niton (The Reason) is Prydz's latest offering. It has been in circulation for a few months now, however I have been a little slow in getting my post out! What kind of blogger am I... sheesh...

Anyway. Love the track. Hope you do too. Much love.

For a land that hands out pretty crap weather year in year out, it produces some pretty amazing talent. Of course I'm talking about the dreary land of the United Kingdom. Apart from providing us with such visual and vocal beauties like Adele and Marina Diamandis (Marina & the Diamonds); it seems as though the UK has another princess waiting for us to embrace. That princess is Clare Maguire.

The 23 year-old from Birmingham, England, was recently announced by the BBC as one of the top five in the BBC Sound of 2011 list as being one of this years most promising artists.

Her sultry, brooding voice compares her to the likes of Sian Evans (from Kosheen) or Sharleen Spiteri (from Texas). Clare's debut album, Light After Dark, was released late February and achieved top ten status in the UK - a great feat for a any artist breaking into the industry with their debut album.

The Last Dance, Clare's second single to be lifted off the album, is her most successful single to date. Emotionally it's a strong track, and for me it calls upon the same heartstrings as Robyn's Dancing On My Own... powerful... it leaves you wanting more as the song finishes. Clare wrote the number after music legend Michael Jackson's death, in response to unjust comments from the media about his life.

Whilst I'm yet to finish listening to the album in it's entirety, from what I've heard so far it certainly is a strong, mature album - and something very different to what we're experiencing globally right now in the world of pop music. This is nothing like Ke$ha, Rihanna or Beyonce. We're talking more Stevie Nicks, Annie Lennox or even Chrissie Hynde.

Love, love, love what I hear. What a breath of fresh air.

Love this. Kylie Minogue, prior to performing her almost sold-out Aphrodite Les Folies show in Toulouse, France, does an "impromptu" acoustic version of Nu-Di-Ty, originally taken from the X album. Not sure exactly how impromptu this actually is... I'll let you watch it to find out.

To be honest, Nu-Di-Ty never sounded so good!

Tickets to the Aphrodite Les Folies 2011 Tour for Australia are available now, visit Kylie's official site for more details [KYLIE.COM]

Feeling like you need to reinvigorate your love for Express Yourself 2.0, aka Lady Gaga's Born This Way? Well, look no further. Born This Way, The Remixes Pt 1 will be released in the coming days.

Desperate to hear them before you purchase? Thanks to Gaga Daily's Soundcloud profile you can view a snippet online now. My favourite would have to be the LA Riots Mix... although that could change in a week or two! Enjoy.

Well in fact, that's not entirely true. Sex Rules is not actually "brand new" as it leaked online mid-2010... but for the purposes of being released officially on an EP/LP or as a single, well yes, then it is "brand new".

Now I'm finished with the specifics, let's get in to it shall we. Sky Ferreira, the Portuguese-American songbird who brought us One and Obsession last year has announced an official release - an EP, titled As If!, to be released later this month (US and UK only at this stage).

Taken from that is the lead single, Sex Rules, and whilst it may not be specifically "brand new", it's certainly a great song with it's 80's synth-beats and corny lyrics. Sex Rules is one of five tracks on the EP - the others being Tracers, Haters Anonymous, 99 Tears and 108.

While we wait for the official video, take a listen to the track via the audio below. I love it!

Beth Ditto at her FINEST. Grab the talented Gossip singer, throw in the boys from Simian Mobile Disco, and voilà! You have yourself a sexy house number with the vocals of a pure (almost) angel.

I Wrote The Book is lifted off Beth Ditto's EP, aptly titled, Beth Ditto EP. And, shock-horror-shock-horror, it's actually available for purchase through the Australian iTunes store!

The video for I Wrote The Book is a black and white number that makes me feel like Beth took a page out of Madonna's book circa-Vogue/Justify My Love. Dunno, I could be off track, but I get the vibe. Regardless, it's a brilliant track and I can already see it clocking up some spins (loudly) at my place.

Love it. Your thoughts?

Video highlight: the dancers with their so-very-90's dancing! Hawt.

Whoops. I may be one of the last people to feel this chick - Katy B that is. I stumbled across this track only today and I LOVE IT. Katy's vocals. Katy's beats. Katy's look. Actually, she kinda reminds me of a brunette Anna Paquin. Hmmm... True Blood...

I'm getting side-tracked. Let's learn a little more about Katy B...

+ Katy originates from South London
+ Her full name is Kathleen Brien
+ She is only 21 years old!

The young lass will release her debut album, On A Mission, in the UK in April. Broken Record is the third single to be lifted off that album, following On A Mission [VIDEO] and Lights On featuring Ms Dynamite [VIDEO]. Both tracks earned reached the top five in the UK, but if you ask me, Broken Record should smash those - it's a much better track vocally... it has so much more feeling to it!

Check it out and tell me what you think. Reckon I'm on the money here?

I love this chick. And when I say chick, I mean girl. And when I say girl, I mean child. This chick/girl/child is hella talented. 10 year-old Willow Smith, simply known as Willow, just has the goods. Seriously though, with parents like Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, it's hard not to be bloody talented.

Willow's debut single released late last year, Whip My Hair, was a global success. It reached the top 20 in the US, Canada and Australia (achieving platinum status in the US and Australia), and reached #2 in the UK. Willow's follow up single, 21st Century Girl, has the potential to mirror that performance, and the video just premiered over the last few days.

21st Century Girl sees Willow take a route down the pop road, vs Whip My Hair which was a little more R&B. It's a "cute" track... and I mean that with no disrespect to the 10 year-old. It's definitely something you could see Willow sing (or Miley Cyrus for that matter), vs something you would see Beyonce come out with. Like I said, no disrespect. It's actually refreshing to see a 10 year-old sing something a little bit more age-applicable, and not talk about grinding some pole somewhere.

Video highlight: the wolves. Love 'em. Woof.

In case you didn't catch it on the weekend gone by (on Sunday Night, Channel Seven); Molly Meldrum interviewed Kylie Minogue prior to the opening of her new worldwide tour, Aphrodite Les Folies Tour 2011.

The video sees Molly discuss with Kylie her battle with breast cancer, which causes the singer to become momentarily overwhelmed with the memories of her past. It's all too close to home it seems, even though Kylie is about to hit the five-year mark since getting the all clear from doctors.

Apart from that moment (which admittedly, brought a tear to my eye), Molly congratulates Kylie on her success, her reinvention, and her longevity in the industry. Additionally, you get to see a sneak peak of some concert footage!

Watch the full interview below.

In case you missed it, Kylie released the dates for her Australian leg of the Aphrodite Les Folies Tour 2011 - details via her official webiste [KYLIE.COM]

Can't wait to see you Miss Minogue!!!

And, in case you missed this as well, Kylie covers Vs. Magazine - the American/international high-end fashion and lifestyle magazine - in their Spring/Summer edition. Hot!

Hot!

OMG - it's actually going to happen. Can't believe. I seriously thought that Nicole Scherzinger's attempt in releasing a solo album was going to get shelved for the 700-millionth time, but no, it's not! Killer Love is the name of the debut album by the ex-Pussycat Doll, and it's due to hit stores before the end of this month (in the UK anyway).

There is an album preview (below) that allows you to listen to a snippet of each of the 14 tracks confirmed for the release - how exciting! A couple of standouts (apart from Heartbeat with Enrique Iglesias and Don't Hold Your Breath - her latest single) would be Wet, Casualty and Right There (which sounds like a track that should have been written for Rihanna).

Very, very excited!

It would seem somewhat ironic that Wynter Gordon's mega hit single would be titled Dirty Talk, because simply, when I think of Wynter I'm kinda lost for words. The beauty and talent that is Miss Gordon was recently here in Australia (again) to play at the 2011 Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras and I my dear friends, was very fortunate enough to meet her. For all of you that know me well and have been following this blog long enough, you'll know how much I adore her.

There are ample reasons why if you're not tuning into Channel Wynter, you need to now or you're going to get left behind. Because I'm a nice boy, I'll summarise why for you.

+ Dirty Talk, the sauciest and sexiest song on the airwaves was at #1 for three weeks on the ARIA Singles Chart and over the weekend Wynter was presented with 3x platinum status for the single (which is in excess of 210,000 copies sold)

+ Wynter has worked with legends and favourites such as Flo Rida, David Guetta and the Freemasons. Not to mention that she's also written tracks for Jennifer Lopez's upcoming album titled Love?

+ Wynter's track (Putting It Out There) Pride was the official theme song to this year's Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras, clearly making her an even bigger gay icon than she already was

Now where was I? Whilst we know Wynter's debut album will be titled With the Music I Die (hopefully out later this year), I've been patiently waiting to capture details of the release of Wynter's next hit single. But alas, I now have something!

Wynter's apparent next single is titled Crash & Burn. Whilst I couldn't get my hands on the actual edit that will be released as the single, there is a remix available that previews the track. The mix is very dubstep, but fear not! Wynter beautiful vocals shine through as always.

So - stay tuned for more details. For now, get that mother on repeat and enjoy the awesomeness that is Wynter Gordon.

UK singer Jodie Connor originally rose to fame in 2003 as a contestant on their version of the Idol franchise, Pop Idol. Whilst Jodie didn't make the final cut, she left an impression on the judges (who actually voted to have her as a wild card entrant) and fans alike.

Coming back into the spotlight in 2010 Jodie's unique vocals featured on some of the years great tracks - Electric Boogaloo (Find a Way) by Wiley and J2K [VIDEO], Good Times by Roll Deep [VIDEO], and my clear favourite out of the three, Higher State by Bailey [VIDEO].

Now in 2011, Jodie has ventured on her own solo career. She has just pumped out two singles from her yet-to-titled debut album, with her latest being Bring It feat Tinchy Stryder, being released in the UK last week.

Her debut single however is clearly my favourite. Now or Never featuring Wiley was released in early January (in the UK) and earned Jodie a top 20 hit. Great effort, however knowing how quickly the pop industry can churn-and-burn artists, I'm not sure it's a good enough track record to keep her afloat.

Regardless, I'm fully behind this girl. Yes she kinda has the standard girl-next-door look but with a bit more sass, but there is something appealing about her look and style (I especially like the fact she wears glasses - various ones too - and doesn't hide her need by wearing contact lenses). In addition, the girl can sing!

So - my verdict... I love her work, I just hope many others see what I see. What's your thoughts?

And so, here we have it. The Ke$ha penned, Dr Luke and Max Martin produced track sung by Britney Spears. Till The World Ends leaked online last week and since then was confirmed that it is the follow up single to Hold It Against Me, taken off the Femme Fatale album.

Femme Fatale is not due in stores for another couple of weeks, so by releasing Till The World Ends earlier Miss Spears has a higher chance of securing another Billboard Hot 100 #1. In fact, Britney hasn't been able to score two number hits from the same album... could things be about to change?

I digress. The track, which is very clearly a Ke$ha track, will do well for Brit. It's as infectious as Hold It Against Me and obviously the commercial market will pick it up immediately - making it another chart smasher for her.

But, what's your thoughts...? Me - yeah it's ok. It'll grow on I me...

You can pre-order Femme Fatale digitally, additionally Till The World Ends is available for purchase today [ITUNES]

Hold up Robyn lovers! Just when you thought we'd seen the last of our Swedish beauty (considering she pretty much owned 2010) out comes the news that our dear Robyn will be releasing Call Your Girlfriend (one of the five new tracks taken off the last Body Talk release) as a single.

The single release, set for May (apparently, according to BangOn), will include remixes from Sultan & Ned Shepard and Kaskade - which are both below for you to preview. I'm loving the direction of both remixes, but the Sultan & Ned Shepard mix takes the cake for me at present. Can't wait to hear them in full!

Stay tuned for more single details as I get them.

And here it is, J Lo's video for her new single, On The Floor featuring Pitbull. This track is making waves globally I tell ya - in the last week it's bulleted to #2 on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart, it's debuted at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100, and it's reached top five status in almost ten countries.

The video features J Lo and Pitbull in a club (surprise, surprise) where there's dancing, seductive stares, and a little bit of product placement (which seems to be the norm these days - jeez). All in all it's a pretty standard video, and something very similar to her earlier stuff... ie: Waiting for Tonight. Great, great song... mediocre clip.

On The Floor is taken from J Lo's seventh studio album, Love?, which is released globally in late April.

You  can purchase On The Floor digitally today [ITUNES]

Is anyone else strangely attracted to the skeletal bad-ass model that Mother Monster has her hands on?
Tell me I'm not alone here. I wanna be all monster like with my brain showing too. Not fair.

Just in case you're a little behind, Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, or simply Adele, is one of the freshest, rawest, most talented beings to hail from the land of the UK since I don't know when.

Not only is Adele sweeping the worldwide charts with her latest album, 21, but she's breaking records as she does it. Adele's current singles, Rolling in the Deep and Someone Like You, sit at #4 and #1 respectively on the Official UK Charts. She is the first artist to have two singles in the top five since The Beatles in 1964.

In addition, both of Adele's albums - 21 and 19 - sit at #1 and #2 on the Official UK Charts. As if that isn't an achievement in itself!

Let's move on.

In case you didn't catch it, but after her brilliant performance at the BRIT Awards just recently, Someone Like You debuted at #1 - a mean feat considering Adele fought off Lady Gaga's Born This Way in the same week when every other country in the world (almost) is seeing Gaga debut at #1.

Ok... but let's not stop there.

On Adele's recent promo tour of the US (that coincided with the release of 21), she performed at the CMT Artists Of The Year Event with Darius Rucker, covering Lady Antebellum's Need You Now. What a performance! If you love the original, you'll die when you hear Adele's.

But wait, there's more.

Speaking of her US promo tour, did I mention that according to Billboard.com, 21 is set to debut at #1 there? I can already see her sweep the Grammys next year...
Not convinced that Adele is sheer grace and elegance? Well get a listen to this - Adele covering Cheryl Cole's Promise This on Radio One's Live Lounge. Sorry Chezza, but Adele kicks your ass in this track.

Phew. I'm almost worn out from the excitement and damage that Adele does to my heart (it may or may not skip a beat every time she sings. Just sayin'). If you are not convinced of her fresh, raw, amazing, unbeatable talent... well I'm sorry, there is nothing more I can do for you here.

Seriously - get out there and support her!
