British pop star Alexandra Burke has unleashed the video "Let It Go," the second single to be lifted from the singer's sophomore album "Heartbreak On Hold."

"Let It Go" follows the lead single "Elephant" - another pop/dance number. Whilst the lyrics may be somewhat generic, you can't deny the track has an unstoppable beat that locks you onto the floor as you move-and-groove with Burke.

We'd also like to mention that X Factor UK winner looks amazing in the clip! Nothing like a trip on the tube to give you some life, hey?

[VIDEO PREMIERE] THE WANTED "CHASING THE SUN"

British-Irish boy band The Wanted have premiered the video for "Chasing The Sun," the second US single to be lifted from their self-titled EP (specifically packaged for the US and Canadian markets).

The track was co-written by UK singer-rapper Example.

Without giving too much away about the video, the lads find themselves chasing some pretty young things only to be lead to a party that... well... we'll let you see what happens. Watch the full clip below.

[VIDEO PREMIERE] SAM SPARRO "I WISH I NEVER MET YOU"

Australian singer-songwriter Sam Sparro has premiered the clip for "I Wish I Never Met You," the second single to be lifted from the artists sophomore album "Return To Paradise."

The track, which brings to mind classic mid-tempo love-pop songs like Robyn's "Dancing On My Own," really showcases Sparro's brilliant vocals. Co-penned by Swedish pop star Erik Hassle,"I Wish I Never Met You" is this year's "Black & Gold" for Sparro.

The 1920s set clip, directed by Mike Rosenthal, looks to be a nod to the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, with Sparro and company's choreography.

WYNTER GORDON TO RELEASE "STILL GETTING YOUNGER" REMIX EP

Just when you thought Wynter Gordon's epic debut album "With The Music I Die" had stopped producing single releases, out pops a surprise package for all of us to enjoy.

The New York native has unveiled a remix EP for the Pnau-produced favourite "Still Getting Younger." Remixes featured are by Third Party, eSQUIRE and Belocca. Listen to a preview of each below.

GOTYE CLIMBS TO #1 ON THE BILLBOARD HOT 100

This week Australia's own Gotye climbs to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 with his smash hit "Somebody That I Used To Know," feat New Zealand singer-songwriter Kimbra.

Gotye breaks the twelve-year drought for an Australian act to appear at the summit in the US, with duo Savage Garden the last act to reach number one with their 2000 hit "I Knew I Loved You."

Taken from Billboard's press release:

"With the "Glee" cast having performed its version of the song on the Fox series' April 10 episode and Gotye and Kimbra having sung "Somebody" on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" on April 14, the track sold 542,000 downloads in the April 9-15 tracking period, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The sum is the fourth-best since SoundScan began tracking digital sales in 2003.


While aided by TV exposure, Gotye's "Somebody" nets the highest weekly digital sales total for a song not powered by debut week sales ("Right Round") or Christmas week consumer behavior ("TiK ToK," "Grenade"). (The "Glee" cast cover of "Somebody," meanwhile, sold 152,000 downloads and debuts on the Digital Songs chart at No. 10 and the Hot 100 at No. 26.)


In addition to its chart-topping rank on the Hot 100 (with the chart's top Digital Gainer award) and Digital Songs, "Somebody" leaps 12-8 on Radio Songs with 72 million all-format audience impressions (up 19%), according to Nielsen BDS. The track additionally takes over atop the On-Demand Songs chart with 1.28 million on-demand streams (up 23%), according to BDS, while its overall streaming increases by 21%.

[VIDEO PREMIERE] RITA ORA "HOW WE DO (PARTY)"

Kosovo-born, British-based singer-wongwriter Rita Ora has premiered the video for "How We Do (Party)," the lead US and Australian single for the new artist. The track is Ora's solo debut.

The track, which was produced by The Runners, is much more of a pop entry in the market, in comparison to the 21 year-old's lead UK single "R.I.P." which features UK rapper Tinie Tempah. The video was directed by Marc Klasfeld and was shot in Coney Island, New York.

We quite like Ora's style - both musically and fashion - but although the lass has been labeled as a "wannabe Rihanna," she's yet to see any level of stardom just like it. "How We Do (Party)" was released in late March and is yet to see any level of US chart mayhem.

US singer-songwriter Adam Lambert has just released "Never Close Our Eyes," the second single to be lifted from his sophomore LP "Trespassing" - listen to the new single here.

NELLY FURTADO RETURNS WITH "BIG HOOPS (BIGGER THE BETTER)"

Canadian singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado has returned with "Big Hoops (Bigger The Better)," the first of new material to appear on the pop star's fourth English-speaking studio album (fifth overall). The new album, "The Spirit Indestructible," follows the globally successful 2006 release "Loose."

The track was produced by Rodney Jerkins, aka Darkchild. Furtado has also called upon the producing talents of Tiësto, Salaam Remi and John Shanks for the upcoming release.

“I began writing these songs around the time I released my Spanish album "Mi Plan",” Furtado says. “I was in a great head space, feeling refreshed and ready to really deliver in English again. This album is all about positivity, youth, good energy, and the relentlessness of the spirit. I want people to live this music the way we did when we wrote it. 
I want them to jump, dance, scream, laugh, cry, love, and vibe to it, and to turn it up very loud everywhere.”

MAROON 5 RETURN WITH NEW SINGLE "PAYPHONE," CONFIRM "OVEREXPOSED" TRACKLIST

US pop-rock group Maroon 5 have revealed the lead single off their upcoming studio album, the track "Payphone." The pop gem was produced by Shellback and Benny Blanco, and features Wiz Khalifa on guest vocals.

Australian singer-songwriter Sam Sparro has revealed the second single to be lifted from his upcoming sophomore album "Return To Paradise," the track "I Wish I Never Met You." The track follows "Happiness," the album's lead single.

Sparro says of "I Wish...": "It’s that first instinct that you have after a bad break-up. You want to completely cut all ties. You go through a process but it often starts with anger. I think most people can relate to this notion."

This month US house DJ Morgan Page released his much-anticipated third studio "In The Air." So far the album has spawned the singles "Body Work" (feat. Tegan & Sara) and the title track (with Sultan & Ned Shepard & BT feat. Angela McCluskey).

One of the standout tracks on the LP is the definite club-banger "Carry Me," featuring the gorgeous Nadia Ali on guest vocals. True to Page's signature house beats and Ali's outstanding vocals, "Carry Me" is a future smash hit in the making.

DELTA GOODREM RETURNS WITH "SITTING ON TOP OF THE WORLD"

It's been a long time between hits for Australian singer-songwriter Delta Goodrem. The 27 year-old last appeared on our charts with her third studio album "Delta" back in 2007, with the album spawning the number one single "In this Life," the number two single "Believe Again" and the top twenty hits "You Will Only Break My Heart" and "I Can't Break It To My Heart."

Since then, the artist has broken up with long-time partner Brian McFadden, hooked up with and broken up with Jonas brother Nick Jonas, and tried to break into the US market with her piano-pop tunes.

Returning to the musical spotlight this year Goodrem has unleashed "Sitting On Top Of The World," the lead single from her upcoming fourth studio album.

The track, co-penned by Goodrem and previous collaborator John Shanks (Miley Cyrus' "Can't Be Tamed"), the star is aiming for yet another chart take-over. Whilst only just being released, the vocal coach on Australia's The Voice had a fantastic opportunity to help promo the song on last night's Logies on Australian TV.

The performance verdict - actually, not bad. We all know Goodrem can perform live, and so she did quite well last night. The benefits? The track is currently sitting comfortably within the top five on the Australian iTunes Singles Chart. The track, which appeared on Brown's Soundcloud page within the last 24 hours, follows more so in the footsteps of "Get It" rather than "We Run The Night" - it's a slightly more generic club sound that in our opinion, will probably struggle to reach the same heights as Brown's debut single.

British pop star Queen of Hearts stepped into the wonderful world of pop last year with her brilliant debut single "Shoot The Bullet." The pop gem, which was seriously over-looked as one of the best singles of 2011, was produced by some of our favourite pop producers, the Swedish duo  The Sound of Arrows.

Move forward to 2012 and the talented star unleashes her latest single "Neon." Yet another infectious pop track, Hearts returns with a strong entry into this year's musical airwaves - "Neon" sounds like something you'd expect from polished pop group Goldfrapp with it's electro beats and haunting vocals.

Not to be content with releasing just one track, "Neon" features as part of a double a-side release, partnering with "Tears In The Rain," (also produced by The Sound of Arrows we hear!)

Drake says of the video, directed by Yoann Lemoine (Lana Del Rey's "Born To Die" and "Blue Jeans"), that "it's all basically the ups and downs of a relationship but represented in icebergs and fire and animals and just pulsating movement and then you've got me and Rihanna very intimate – kissing, hugging." The clip is quite simple, but compliments the mood of the track very well.

Jennifer Lopez has premiered the video for her latest single "Dance Again," the first of new material to emerge from the 42 year-old superstar for 2012. The track features her "On The Floor" collaborator, Cuban rapper Pitbull.

The track was co-penned by AJ Junior, The Chef, Pitbull, RedOne and fellow Latino Enrique Iglesias. The video was directed by Paul Hunter (Lopez's "Papi," Nicole Scherzinger's "Right There") and features Lopez's current boyfriend, 25 year-old back-up dancer Casper Smart.

British-Irish girl group The Saturdays have premiered the video for "30 Days," the latest single to emerge from the "On Your Radar" era.

The track was written by long-time collaborator Steve Mac and Autumn Rowe, and produced by Mac. The digital EP, which is set for release May 14, includes a Saturdays-only version of their album track "The Way You Watch Me" - which was originally slated as the fourth single and features US rapper Travie McCoy (of Gym Class Heroes).

Australian singer-songwriter Darren Hayes has premiered the video for "Stupid Mistake," the fourth single to be lifted from his "Secret Codes and Battleships" album. The track was co-penned by Hayes and Robert Conley, co-produced by Justin Shave (The Potbelleez' "Hello").

The black and white video features Hayes take on a theatrical performance of "The Joker," and was directed by Hayes' partner Richard Cullen.

MEDINA RETURNS WITH ENGLISH TRACK "FOREVER"

Danish pop star Medina, who delivered the exceptional tracks "You & I," "Gutter" and "Addiction" across 2010-2011, has unveiled her next English single "Forever." The track is a translated version of her 2011 Danish single "For Altid."

No word on a release date of of yet, but we're hoping this means a full English album coming our way this year. Stay tuned for more as we hear it. Take a listen to "Forever" below.

KERLI PREMIERES NEW SINGLE "ZERO GRAVITY"

Estonian singer-songwriter Kerli has premiered the video for her latest single "Zero Gravity," the lead to be taken from her upcoming second studio album due later this year.

The track, which was produced by Svante Halldin and Jakob Hazell, has a brilliant set of remixes to accompany the club hit, including a mix by Dutch DJ Laidback Luke. The video was directed by Canadian Alon Isocianu.

[VIDEO PREMIERE] TIMOMATIC "IF LOOKS COULD KILL"

Australia's answer to Taio Cruz and/or Chris Brown (and a somewhat better option, we must say), Nigerian-born Timomatic has premiered his new single, "If Looks Could Kill." The track follows on from the triple-platinum selling hit "Set It Off," which peaked at #2 on the ARIA Singles Chart earlier this year.

Written and produced by the DNA Songs boys, the pop/dance number is not too dissimilar from his debut release - so fans of the reality television star will probably eat this up just as much as it's predecessor. The single, which has been available since last week, has already debuted at #16 on this weeks ARIA Singles Chart.

KAT GRAHAM PREMIERES NEW SINGLE "PUT YOUR GRAFFITI ON ME"

When she's not playing the part of witchy Bonnie Bennett in the CW television series "The Vampire Diaries," the gorgeous Kat Graham is working up a sweat preparing for pop world domination with her latest single, "Put Your Graffiti On Me."

The 22 year-old, who was born in Switzerland and grew up in Los Angeles, gets her R&B-pop groove on in her latest jam. Produced by the Aussie production team Twice As Nice, the track is reminiscent of old school Pussycat Dolls and all things classy sassy.

Watch the video below, which despite only being released a couple of days ago, is already close to one million views. Clearly some boys (and girls) wanna tag it...

PREVIEW ABOVE & BEYOND'S "LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH" REMIXES

Last month British trance legends Above & Beyond premiered the video for their latest single "Love Is Not Enough," featuring the beautiful Zoë Johnston on vocals (which you can watch here).

PREVIEW KATY PERRY'S "PART OF ME" (FREEMASONS REMIX)

Katy Perry has enjoyed global chart success with her latest jam, the Russell Brand divorce-bashing anthem "Part Of Me." Not content with gaining commercial success on the track, Perry sets her sights on the club scene by getting world-famous DJs the Freemasons on board to remix the hit.

The make-over from the boys sees the pop-rock radio jam turn into a Freemasons signature disco-haven. The Brighton boys remix is giving us life! Fans of the boys will be happy - they never, never disappoint.

VAN SHE ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE AND ALBUM "IDEA OF HAPPINESS"

Australian electro outfit Van She have premiered "Idea Of Happiness," the lead single to be taken from their upcoming second studio album of the same name. The group's debut album "V" was released back in 2008 and peaked at #10 in Australia.

Long time fans of the Sydney boys certainly won't be disappointed with the new track as it remains true to the group's signature electro-pop tunes. It's quintessentially Van She, with a 2012 twist.

"Recorded, engineered and produced by the band themselves in Kings Cross, Sydney and mixed in Los Angeles with Tony Hoffer (the perfect man for the job with a resume that includes work with Beck, Air, Phoenix and M83), the final result is so uplifting it's practically levitational."

FLORENCE & THE MACHINE AIM HIGH WITH "NEVER LET ME GO"

British indie pop group Florence & the Machine are aiming high with their latest single "Never Let Me Go." The track, which is the fourth to be lifted from the group's second studio "Ceremonials," has this week debuted at #19 on the ARIA Singles Chart - making it the second highest peaking single for the band since they appeared on our charts almost three years ago.

Whilst the Paul Epworth-produced track is clearly one of the favourites from the album, the high debut has been helped by the recent airing on commercial television relating to the upcoming anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic.

Not to take anything away from Flo and the team's work, catch the new video below for the new single, directed by Tabitha Denholm (Ladyhawke's "Black, White & Blue").

JENNIFER LOPEZ RETURNS WITH "DANCE AGAIN" FEAT. PITBULL

American recording artist and all 'round babe Jennifer Lopez has revealed her latest single "Dance Again." The track, which employs the writing talents of RedOne and the vocal performance of rapper Pitbull, is the first of new material to appear off J Lo's upcoming album release.

Unknown whether the next album will be a complete studio release or a greatest hits album (which rumours surfaced for late last year), "Dance Again" will be released worldwide from April 2.

LISTEN TO NEW EVA SIMONS WITH "I DON'T LIKE YOU"

Dutch singer Eva Simons has revealed her latest single "I Don't Like You." Following on from her global smash hit "Take Over Control" with fellow Dutch DJ Afrojack, "I Don't Like You" picks up right where "Take Over..." left off - it's a pop-club cross over track that should easily gain some recognition in both clubs and European charts alike.

THE SATURDAYS PREMIERE NEW SINGLE "30 DAYS"

British pop quintet The Saturdays have premiered their new single, the Steve Mac produced "30 Days." The track was co-penned by Mac and pop-writing superstar Autumn Rowe.

It's unknown if "30 Days" is from a upcoming studio album or a revamped left-over from the "On Your Radar" era. We somehow think the latter, with the single cover looking somewhat similar to the other "On Your Radar" single sleeves.

True to form, "30 Days" is a catchy pop song that will no doubt score the girls yet another top ten hit. Will it be powerful enough to finally score the girls a number one in the UK however...? Time will tell.

DRAGONETTE RETURN WITH NEW SINGLE "LET IT GO"

Canadian dance outfit Dragonette have returned with a new single, "Let It Go." The track is the first of new material to be lifted from the group's upcoming third studio album, due later this year.

After the global success Martina and the boys have had with Martin Solveig and his tracks "Hello" and "Big In Japan," it's now time for the electro lovers to take the main stage themselves. "Let It Go" demonstrates an easily addictive pop sound and should do well for the trio both commercially and in the clubs. Here, we love it!

PREPARE YOURSELF FOR ELTON JOHN VERSUS PNAU WITH "GOOD MORNING TO THE NIGHT"

Australian dance outfit Pnau have teamed up with singing/songwriting legend Sir Elton John for their latest project, Elton Versus Pnau. The project will see the duo remix selected tracks from John's back catalogue, mixing his vocals with the group's signature house beats.

The end result - brilliance.

Our first taste of the project is "Good Morning To The Night," sampling "Mona Lisas And Mad Hatters" which is lifted from John's 1972 album "Honky Château." Take a listen to the final version of the track below.

You can keep track on the progress of the project via the groups Facebook or Twitter accounts. A full studio album is expected later this year.

[VIDEO PREMIERE] RICKI-LEE "DO IT LIKE THAT"

Australian singer/songwriter Ricki-Lee has premiered the video for "Do It Like That," the second single to be lifted from the 26 year olds upcoming third studio album to be released later this year. The track follows the platinum-selling "Raining Diamonds," which peaked at #19 in Australia late last year.

The clip features a smokin' hot Ricki-Lee working some killer dance moves, in what we would describe as a very polished pop video. It's simple in it's delivery, yet effective with the colour and dynamic shots that flash before your eyes.

[VIDEO PREMIERE] TONI BRAXTON " I HEART YOU"

American singer/songwriter Toni Braxton has unveiled the video for her new single "I Heart You." The track is the lead to be lifted from Braxton's eight studio album "Heartstrings & Synagogue Vibes."

The clip is a pretty casual affair and probably quite low-budget, but none the less the 44 year-old looks great as she aches over her lover (which in the clip, is a fairly handsome individual - so we don't blame her).
