Yesterday Lady Gaga appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and performed her latest single, Judas. Gaga appeared in what seems to be an outfit taken from Britney Spears wardrobe crica 1999. Hmmm. Not sure about the outfit, but the number was good all the same.

Watch the video below - your thoughts?

I have so much love for these guys, it's not even funny. So, you can imagine how stoked I was to hear a snippet off their latest single via BBC Radio 1 this week.

Of course I'm talking about the Swedish House Mafia, consisting of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. The boys are back with a new track - Save The World - featuring the vocals of John Martin.

Take a listen to a preview below. One word... EPIC.

Remady, aka Marc Wurgler, is a Swiss DJ/producer. Craig David, as you would know, is a British singer/songwriter. Together, they bring you Do It On My Own. - a track that is actually quite enjoyable. Yes, yes it is.

What's more surprising is that it's actually available for purchase digitally in Australia. Interesting. Maybe this is the track that they're looking to revive Craig's career with? Hmmm.

Very excited. Very, very excited actually. Below you get the opportunity to listen to Frankmusik's latest offering - the follow up to Fear Inside, taken off his much-anticipated second album, Do It In The AM. The single of the same name features fellow Cherrytree Records label mates - Far East Movement.

Frankmusik first came to light in 2008 with his debut single, In Step. Following he released the singles 3 Little Words and the UK top 30 hits Better Off As Two and Confusion Girl. His debut album, Complete Me, was released in 2009 and achieved a top 20 status in the UK.

All good and dandy you might say. But, for me Complete Me is one of the best musical pop offerings evah. EVAH. Big call.

So he returns! Hence the "very excited" statement earlier. Take a listen to the new track below, you like?
Whilst we wait for Frankmusik's latest digital release, do yourself a favour and purchase Complete Me online [ITUNES]

And to think I almost missed this. The cover of the fourth single release to be taken off Rihanna's Loud album, California King Bed, was tweeted by RiRi herself a few days ago.

As of this week the track is comfortably sitting in the top 20 on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart, mainly driven by the substantial radio play it's been getting here. No word on the video as of yet, but when words out, you know where you'll hear it.

You know, it's amazing what a 19 second preview of a video clip featuring hunky model/actor William Levy can do for a song that I don't really rate. Jennifer Lopez may not have us shakin' our thang with I'm Into You, but she certainly has us gasping for air with the hottie in her new video clip.

Check out the preview below and stay tuned for the full video, due to hit on the 2nd May.

Aussie duo, Lovers Electric (aka Eden Boucher & David Turley, originally from Adelaide) have released the video for their latest single, Love Can Save Us. The track is taken from their new album, Impossible Dreams, to be released this year.

I fell in love with the electro-pop team back in 2009 with their singles Honey [VIDEO] and Could This Be [VIDEO]. Both tracks were served with an epic Sam La More remix that was nothing short of brilliant.

No news yet on the official local release date, however keep your eyes on their digital profile for more information [ITUNES]

Following on from the success of her remix of S&M with Rihanna, Britney Spears looks to mirror the collaboration by joining forces with pop divas Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha to remix Till The World Ends.

The official remix sees the Femme Fatale track take a dubstep turn with Minaj introducing the remix with a new rap tied in with Brit-Brit's verse, and Ke$ha locking in the chorus. All in all, it's actually pretty hot.

I'm loving the fact all my ladies are joining forces to bring us these new jams. Who's next?

Till The World Ends (The Femme Fatale Remix) will be available to purchase digitally shortly, for now keep an eye on Britney's profile [ITUNES]

And here's your pre-Easter remix post. The Foo Fighters returned with their seventh studio album, Wasting Time, earlier this month. From that, their lead single Rope was released. Whilst many are describing this album as "the return to the Foo's roots", there is certainly one thing that has caught my attention - and that's the Deadmau5 remix of Rope.

In true, typical Deadmau5 style he has taken Rope to another place. A beautiful place. A place of joy and darkness, all at the same time. A place of electro-house pleasure. A place that many will be over this long weekend, I'm sure.

Preview the track below, and if you like, you can purchase via the Foo Fighters digital profile online today [ITUNES]

Can't get enough of Wynter Gordon's latest smash, Til Death? Neither can I! Just like Dirty Talk wrapped me up in it's love for months on end, Til Death seems to be doing the same. The Denzal Park remix, which is what has been sent to Australian radio (currently sitting at the #1 on the Most Added to Radio playlist), is nothing short of pure brilliance.

But, want more? Now you can preview the official remix suite online. Featuring remixes by WaWa, Oxford Hustlers, Dan Castro and Tom Neville it's a definite must for this years music collection!

Til Death is comfortably sitting in the Australian iTunes top 20 as we speak. Buy it digitally online today [ITUNES]

After some pretty well celebrated success with her hits Do It Like A Dude and Price Tag (#2 and #1 in the UK respectively), Jessie J is about to provide us with the third single to be taken from her Who You Are debut album.

Nobody's Perfect is the that single. Similar to Price Tag, the Jessie J and Claude Kelly co-penned track shows off her vocal talents in a very catchy pop number. Similar to something you'd expect from P!nk, it has that angry-girl-pop vibe, and it suits well.

The video has an Alice in Wonderland feel to it - complete with tea party, corridors, doors, clocks and JJ looking kinda freaky in a blonde wig. Note to you Jessie J, stay a brunette.

Clare Maguire has premiered the video for the third single to be taken from her sensational debut album, Light After Dark. The clip sees Maguire in a number of outfits, one blonde get up in particular where she looks like a cross between Alison Goldfrapp and Lady Gaga. Interesting.

The Shield & The Sword is one of her strongest tracks, although to be honest the album is nothing short of brilliant. For more information about it read my [WELCOME] post on Maguire from March.

The great news my Australian readers, is that you can purchase Maguire's Light After Dark digitally today [ITUNES]

Ok, so I'm a little slow but very happy about this tweet:

Hush Hush will be released in May as the official third single off Alexis Jordan's eponymous debut album. Haven't heard it? The StarGate boys have not only produced one of the strongest tracks off the album, but the boys have produced what I would classify as yet another surefire hit.

Take a listen video the audio clip below and stay tuned for the official video details!

Gee, a lot can happen in four days. New album previews, leaks of new tracks, snippets of exclusive video clips, concert ticket releases... phew, I'm exhausted just catching up! Of course one of the biggest things to hit the world of music in the last few days would have to be Lady Gaga's album artwork for Born This Way. Yes, that's right, the album artwork. Not the actual album itself, JUST THE ARTWORK.

You see, following on from the internet leak of her latest single Judas, which was then rushed to digital retailers globally within hours (preview here), Gaga decided she would also provide the world with the cover art of her much anticipated Born This Way release (due May 23rd).

Fans, bloggers and critics alike were all in despair upon the release of the artwork, above, which features Lady Gaga's head and arms as part of a motorcycle ensemble. There were loads of "WTF" statements circling the internet, along with cries of "Noooooooooo!" For the most part people were trying to figure out the connection between Gaga and a motorcycle. But you see, that's the point. There is no connection.

Lady Gaga, with the assistance from Nick Knight and the Haus of Gaga, have delivered a piece of visual candy that means absolutely nothing. And you know what, who cares? Don't get me wrong - I heart Gaga more than most of you can imagine - but that's why she's a genius. She could release a picture of an orangutan shitting on a yellow Mercedes Benz with a half-naked parking inspector writing out a ticket and say that was the Born This Way cover. You/me/we would still love her. Full stop.

What has happened here, whether O Weird One has done this purposely or not, is that a frenzy has been created just about an album's cover art, without even getting to the actual music listed on the damn disc. All that JUST FOR A PICTURE. Now, imagine what will happen when the actual music is released. Heavens forbid. Really now, who is the clever one hey?

I love the fact there has been all this fuss about it. Now with my paws up, she just better deliver on the music side or I will just have to start looking out for that orangutan. Go Mother Motor-Monster. Vroom, vroom, vroom.

Hot on the heels of her R&B-uptempo release, I'm Into You featuring Lil Wayne, another track from Jennifer Lopez's Love? album finds its way onto the 'net.

Papi provides J Lo's European fanbase something to stick their teeth into. The RedOne produced track picks up straight where On The Floor left off - a sexy, familiar beat that will provide dancefloors in summer the much needed attention they deserve.

From my point of view this track would have been the ideal second single release, instead of the insanely backward and so-2002 that is I'm Into You. But hey, I suppose J Ho has to please the American market with something, right?

Listen to Papi below. What's your thoughts? A good follow up to On The Floor?

Lopez's Love? will be released in Australia on the 29th April. Order digitally online today [ITUNES]

And here it is - a full leak of Beyonce's Girls (Who Run The World). The 'net has been a buzz with this over the last 24 hours, and so they should be! The track, clearly still in demo form, is aching to be polished full of sex and attitude. Even then though, it still sounds pumpin'!

As mentioned in my post last week, the new single samples Major Lazer's (aka DJs/producers Diplo & Switch) 2009 single Pon Da Floor.

No official word yet on when the track, or it's accompanying video will  be released - but stay tuned as you'll hear it first on here.

The Sound of Arrows' excellent follow up to Into The Clouds, Nova, will be released in the UK at the end of this month. You mat remember my post about these wonderful Swedes back in late February... it's good to finally see the track get a release!

Also, I've just come across the Tiësto remix of the track which takes Nova to new heights - very, very impressed, which is why I'm dedicating today's [REMIXED] post to it.
Whilst there is no Australian release listed as of yet, visit The Sound of Arrows digital profile online today [ITUNES]

So you'd know from my previous [WELCOME] blog entry about Yasmin, that I kinda think this girl IS THE SHIT. Not only is she gorgeous, but damn, she has some hot tunes. Finish Line, Yasmin's second musical delivery, has been in my head for weeks. I can't shake it I tell you, I just can't shake it!

I've stumbled on the Freemasons Pegasus After Hours Mix of the track - a great chillout version of the song that provides you with a completely different yet familiar vibe. Loving the combo right now. So, I thought I'd share it with you... enjoy.

Global superstar Adele covers the May edition of Rolling Stone, and boy, what a cover. How glamorous is she? Her porcelain skin, pouty lips and toussled hair... hot!

Inside Adele's interview talks to her stage fright (including projectile vomiting on someone!), her inspirations, and her looks. Best quote however has to be the one below:
"I love seeing Lady Gaga's boobs and bum," she says. "I love seeing Katy Perry's boobs and bum. Love it. But that's not what my music is about. I don't make music for eyes. I make music for ears."
Love her. You can read further snippets from the interview online.

After only days of posting the video premiere to Arvmin van Buuren's single release of Drowning featuring Laura V on vocals, is another video released showcasing the exceptional Avicii remix of the track. HECTIC.

Additionally, it's just been brought to my attention that Drowning was written a few years ago by my favourite DJ sisters, Australia's own Nervo twins! HECTIC x2.

Take a listen to the reminx and watch the video edit below. Drowning is taken from Armin van Burren's 2010 album, Mirage, available digitally today [ITUNES]

To celebrate the Australian release of Nicole Scherzinger's current single, Don't Hold Your Breath, here is the brilliant Cahill remix of the track. Whilst the pop number needs no amendment to earn Scherzy a UK #1, there's nothing like a camp remix to really get ya pumpin' on a Thursday morning.

Gay it up, and enjoy.

Don't Hold Your Breath is comfortably sitting inside the iTunes top 20 - purchase it digitally today [ITUNES]

Details have emerged about Sophie Ellis-Bextor's latest single, Starlight, to be lifted from the popstars forthcoming album, Make A Scene (deatils which also emerged this week).

The Richard X produced track, below, sees Ms Ellis-Bextor maintain her pop grass roots as she pleases us with a very likable track, one that already has itself planted firmly in my mind. Whilst it's not as captivating as Heart (Make Me A Dancer) or Bittersweet, I'm giving this baby the opportunity to be remixed (maybe by my favourite Brighton boys?) and I think it will add the finishing touches it needs.

Take a listen below and let me know your thoughts? Do we have another hit on our hands?

In the coming May edition of Harper's Bazaar magazine, not only does Lady Gaga cover the issue with photos shot by Terry Richardson, but she is interviewed by Derek Blasberg - all while he has the opportunity to listen to the Born This Way album in it's entirety.

The interview sees Gaga talk about her upcoming release, her new prosthetics bones and her love for avant-garde fashion. You can see exclusive shots online and read the full interview online. There is one sentence small in size but massive in meaning that gets me so excited that I almost wet the bed each time I read it. That is, a quote from Blasberg after he hears the Born This Way album in full...
"It is epic."
Oh. My. God. Just over six weeks to go people. CAN NOT WAIT.

There are a million different podcasts out there catering to your every desire. Whether it be for educational purposes, radio playbacks, or a variety of music genres - you could spend hours wading your way through the vast selection.

So... I'm determined to make that job a little easier for you. I'll be reviewing some of the greatest podcasts made available online. Those podcasts will be that of which when you listen to the heart and soul recorded in each session, your life will instantly becomes better.

First installment of [PODCAST SESSIONS] is a local DJ who I've been following since his very first podcast back in December 2009. His name, is Kam Shafaati.

Shafaati has featured on this blog before, in it's very early days. I'd written about my love for his guilty pleasure and how each of you should look out for him on the music scene. You see, apart from delivering outstanding musical delights via podcasts, Shafaati is also a resident DJ at The Laid Hotel in Melbourne, and a regular guest DJ at many local and international dance parties.

Since my previous blog about this young hottie and his tunes, Shafaati has played at a range of global events including the world famous Bearracuda, the largest bear dance party in the United States, during the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco; and of course Sydney's iconic Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras at the official after party.

Shafaati takes you on a musical journey when you listen to his sessions. They're predominately based on progressive house music, but there are definite shades and themes portrayed in each of his podcasts.

In a recent interview with SameSame.com.au he informs us:
"There’s a light and dark side to my musical style. I love playing everything from uplifting house to deep, dark and dirty progressive. Music that plays on your emotions. Whether it takes you up or down, it needs to pull at your heart strings and take you on a journey. I look for energetic progression, deep clean sounds, catchy melodies and, depending on the song, complimenting vocals."
Releasing a new session every month or so, I'd safely say that if we were in the era of vinyl, I'd have worn out my collection of Shafaati's music, twice over. Each session is pure house brilliance at it's finest. If you haven't already subscribed to this talented man's podcasts, best you do it now.

Like. Like. Like. Like. Like. Like. And Like.

Not only did I just stumble upon the greatness than is Vanbot and provide you with her brilliant debut single, Make Me, Break Me; but now I provide you with the follow up to that single, Lost Without You.

Lost Without You invokes the same heart strings as Robyn's Dancing On My Own. Oh, bless. Pure pop sadness and love that makes you wanna dance and cry at the same time. Why do the Swede's get it right every time?

'Cause I never lose... I'm lost without you. Oh, bless.

I've been in two minds about posting about this girl. You see Natalia Kills has all the right elements to be a Lady Gaga wannabe (not that that's anything to be proud of) - and that's about it. From the shock-tactic lyrics to the personal styling to the video direction. Everything speaks Gaga rip-off. But you see, the more I listen to her latest offering, Wonderland, the more I'm intrigued by this 24 year-old from the UK.

Kills debut single, Mirrors, was released back in August 2010 to pleasant reviews by pop lovers online. After listening to the track personally I was a bit "meh", nothing special. But alas, fear not dear readers, for out comes Wonderland and I am slightly captivated.

I'm love the lyrics - I think it's the addition of the fairy tale characters, and the chorus - "I don't believe in fairy tales, but I believe in you and me, take me to wonderland." Plus, the video is a great accompaniment with it's fantasy/war theme. Let's throw in the fact that it's likable, catchy and has the right elements to be a commercial success... and I think I'm sucked in.

What about you?

Wonderland is taken from Natalia Kills debut album Perfectionist.

What is she doing to me!?!? I don't know if Kylie Minogue is just teasing, or whether she is set on releasing the Nervo penned and Starsmith produced track Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love). Help!

Remixes have been circulating for a couple of weeks, starting with the Pete Hammond remix that is reminiscent of Ms Minogue's Stock Aitken Waterman days; through to the new Bimbo Jones mix I've just recently got my hands on. Rumours are circulating wildy that a digital release is on the horizon for what should have been the follow up to Get Outta My Way (rather than the crappy Better Than Today - sorry Nerina Pallot, I know you wrote the track but it is clearly not a good choice for a single release).

I'm not sure how much truth there is to additional remixes or an actual single release, but I'll be sure to publish details as I get them! For now, take a listen to the Bimbo Jones mix below...

In the interim you can purchase Aphrodite digitally today [ITUNES]

Make sure you keep up to date with all things music, like us on Facebook for regular updates.

I gave you a preview of Sky Ferreira's As If! EP back in early March, and since then not only have I fallen in love with the lead single, Sex Rules, but of late I just can't seem to get another track outta my head. That track is 99 Tears, also featured on the EP.

Listening to the retro synth-pop number I get flashbacks of bad Paula Abdul choreography, frizzed hair, and bright coloured three-quarter jeans. HAWT. I also feel like I'm dancing away in my Ma's lounge room watching Video Hits as a 10 year-old. Sigh.

Sky - you're awesome girl. Love your stuff. Watch the lyric video for 99 Tears below.

Rumours have been circulating the 'net since last year about the apparent collaboration between two of pop's biggest superstars - Rihanna and Britney Spears. This week those rumours were confirmed with the starlets teasing their fans with corresponding tweets...

And so, sure enough, we're treated to a remix of Rihanna's smash hit S&M featuring none other than Ms Spears herself. Take a listen below!

American Idol legend Kelly Clarkson took to the stage for Ellen at Universal Studios, Colorado last week. The Grammy award winning star sung Miss Independant, Walk Away and Since U Been Gone. And, let me tell you, she rocked that stage.

Clarkson has been busy working on her fifth studio album, due to be released worldwide in September. Whilst the album will be wrapped up in the coming weeks, Clarkson's record company are "holding back" the album as they don't want any other artist "competing" with her when it's released. By other artist I'm assuming they mean the likes of Beyonce and Lady Gaga - both of which that will have new material released in the coming months.

Regardless of when the Idol superstar provides us with the anticipated release, we'll adore it anyway. For now, check out the Ellen performance below and be reminded who the original Idol is.

Oh - you know I love my new music, especially when said new music is as good as this. I'm talking about a track called Make Me, Break Me by Ester Ideskog, otherwise known as Vanbot.

Vanbot, yet another talented artist from the land of the Swedes, sounds a lot like a cross between Robyn and La Roux - the vocals of our other Swedish princess complimented with the pop-synth sound of Elly Jackson's group. Essentially, nothing short of a pure pop sensation.

On launching her debut single, in a recent interview with Pop in Stereo Vanbot cites some of her musical influences as Goldfrapp, Royksopp, Empire Of The Sun, The Chemical Brothers, Robyn, and Crystal Castles - clearly no surprises there.

Make Me, Break Me is taken from Vanbot's debut album which will be released globally in mid-April. Check out the audio below, and stay tuned for informaition on this new bundle of joy as I get it!

Welcome, Vanbot.

Ya-hoo! The official follow up to the 3x platinum Australian #1 Dirty Talk is here. Til Death, Wynter Gordon's latest single, will be released to the market in coming days.

The track originally surfaced last year, however it's now had a makeover by the boys from Denzal Park (the same legends who produced Freefallin' for Zoë Badwi). Denzal Park are no strangers to the scene here with massive club hits Filter Freak, Drum Machine and the 2008 remix of Ce Ce Peniston's Finally.

Miss Gordon has had a pretty amazing run here in Australia if you think about it. Dirty Talk was an unexpected but welcomed hit. She's appeared in a variety of past and up-coming music festivals such as Stereosonic and Creamfields. Wynter was a feature act at the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras. And of course, the build up to the release of Til Death has been anticipated by fans nation wide.

The official release for the track is 15 April. Additionally, stay tuned for more video clip details as I get them. Can't wait Wynter, great work!
