Yep, that's right dedicated readers - I'm out on tour. Over the next few weeks I'll be offline spending my time in some of the most amazing places on this planet. My travels will take me to San Francisco, New York, London, Barcelona and Paris.

Whilst on this wonderful journey with my beloved partner, I'll be collecting as much music memorabilia as I can find, to come back home and blog about. One of the most exciting parts of my trip will actually begin with seeing none other than my Aphrodite Goddess Kylie Minogue in San Francisco - in fact by the time you read this I've probably already seen her, ie: died, gone to heaven, and come back.

KYLIE MINOGUE'S "APHRODITE LES FOLIES" GODDESS AND TOUR EDITIONS

In news that has brought fans worldwide to a glistening standstill - Kylie Minogue will release not one, but two exclusive tour editions of her successful Aphrodite album.

Version one, the Les Folies Edition, will feature three-discs: the standard Aphrodite album; a remix disc featuring the Pete Hammond remix of Put Your Hands Up and an exclusive mix of Aphrodite by Australia's Denzal Park; and a 20 minute megamix mixed by Denzal Park (cover above and back below). SQUEAL!

Version two, the Goddess Edition, will feature the standard Aphrodite album, exclusive interviews, pop-up images and a whole lot more. This edition is strictly limited, and will no doubt sell out very quickly (preview below). SQUEAL X2!

[VIDEO PREMIERE] THE SATURDAYS "NOTORIOUS"

I have seriously been waiting for this for months. MONTHS. The Saturdays are back - finally! Today saw the premiere of the full track and video for their brand new single, Notorious.

Just in case you don't know who The Saturdays are, they're a UK based girl-group consisting of members Una Healy, Vanessa White, Rochelle Wiseman, Mollie King, and Frankie Sandford. Since forming in 2007, the girls have delivered 3 x top ten albums and 8 x top ten singles in their homeland - two of my favourites which are Up [VIDEO]and Missing You [VIDEO]

I'm getting sidetrack. Notorious is a great track with a great clip - well done girls. Love the vibe, love the energy, and love the sex!

Now - pity we have no set Australian release date yet. Grrr. Actually, considering none of their previous material didn't get a local release, I doubt this one will either. Double grrr. Looks like I'm off to the web to import a copy...

[VIDEO PREMIERE] Beyoncé // Run The World (Girls)

Finally! In what feels like forever and a day, Beyoncé has released the video for her latest single, Run The World (Girls). Whilst we've been anxiously waiting, putting up with the various snippets of the clip that have been released over the last few weeks, Bey premiered the video clip during American Idol.

The clip features B looking hotter than ever, following on from Single Ladies (which has some of the best choreography of all time), she takes chorey to a whole other level. Bumpin', grindin', poundin', jackin'... she does it all. And with such FIERCE! (ok, gay-much)

And again, I'll reiterate my comments from last week - I don't care what the haters say, I think the track is brilliant. It's a bold move in a direction that steps outside of the norm; and any artist that can do that, look a million dollars, and still be on top - has my vote. Go Bey, you rock.

[FRESH RELEASE] Swedish House Mafia // Save The World

The boys from Swedish House Mafia have served up quite an offering. A full lyric video has been posted online for their much anticipated, latest smash - Save The World. The track features fellow Swede John Martin on vocals.

The track is the first of new material to surface in 2011, following on from the worldwide success of One (Your Name) and Miami 2 Ibiza. Great, great work I say. Can't wait for the new album.

The GagaVille Experience, and Marry The Night

Most of you would know by now that Lady Gaga has teamed up with online game creator Zynga (the team responsible for Mafia Wars, Cafe World, CityVille, etc) to give you GagaVille - an online gaming experience within FarmVille that provides you the opportunity to earn and collect Lady Gaga themed missions, gifts and icons. Additionally, the experience will release a series of album-only tracks for listening purposes prior to the official albums release on May 23.

The first track, released yesterday via GagaVille was Marry The Night - a glam/gothic pop/rock track. Much like The Edge of Glory, it captures the essence and influences of the 80s and early 90s.

I would post a clip of the track, however YouTube has been pulling them down quicker than a Kings Cross' whores panties.

In other news, apparently the Born The Way album has leaked. I won't be posting any links or leaks access here as I personally disagree and don't approve of illegal downloading - especially when it's something this massive. What a clear disappointment!

[FRESH RELEASE] Lady Gaga // Judas, The Remixes Pt 1

It's all stops Lady Gaga at present! As well as Hair, Gaga's Born This Way album track available as part of the current countdown to the May 23 release; Judas The Remixes Pt 1 was also available for purchase as of today.

This EP features mixes by Goldfrapp and Hurts. Other known official remixes out there are by Chris Lake, John Dahlback and R3HAB - so we can only assume we're going to see a Judas The Remixes Pt 2 sometime soon.

[VIDEO PREMIERE] Pitbull feat. Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer // Give Me Everything

I tried really hard not to like this song, I did. I mean it's Pitbull, what are the odds of me liking a Pitbull song, really? The problem is, Ne-Yo comes along with his suave and his sex; then Afrojack pumps out some phat beats and dang, I'm hooked.

Give Me Everything is the second single to be lifted off Pitbull's sixth studio album, Planet Pit (to be released worldwide June 21. It follows the platinum selling single Hey Baby (Drop It to the Floor), which features the auto-tuned rapping skills (cough, cough) of T-Pain.

The single has hit top ten status in a variety of countries worldwide including the UK and US, with Australia serving it's peak at #2. Will it get to #1...? That depends whether LMFAO's smash Party Rock Anthem gives way (another track which I'm desperately trying not to like... trying... so... hard...)

LISTEN TO NEW LADY GAGA WITH "HAIR"

This morning Lady Gaga released the second "countdown track" to be lifted off the Born This Way album, the track Hair. The song seems to draw upon influences of 80s rock ballads and 90s synths. Let's not forget the addition of the saxophone again (similar to The Edge of Glory - which is still superior in my opinion).

Imagine taking Richard Marx, with a little Kelly Clarkson, add some Boy George and BAM - you have Hair. All in all it's ok. Good in fact. It's original. And it's well liked - currently it's climbing the Australian iTunes charts and at last look, it was at #3.

Oh my - I have been meaning to write about these boys for so long, I almost feel guilty for not sharing their music with you! Forgive me, please? How about I tantalise you with their funky, electro sounds?

Leo Tarring & Antony Edwards make up the very talented duo known as LectroLips. Their indie-electro-pop sound is ripe, clever and somewhat cheeky. For me their name essentially provides a great definition of their music - electro pop honey that sits wonderfully on your lips.

If you're a fan of artists like Robyn, Röyksopp, Empire of the Sun, La Roux, etc - then these boys are for you.

HAVE YOU DISCOVERED... RTI?

Straight out of South London come RTI - three very talented girls by the name of Raquel, Tina and Ivy. After meeting at their local church choir back in 2000, the trio have been working together with their eyes clearly set on the spotlight.

In 2008 the girls auditioned for the UK edition of X Factor, narrowly missing out just before the live finals. With their goals still set out on a career in music, the girls have worked tirelessly at perfecting their style and music - with this year paying off as the girls toured with Ne-Yo, Trey Songz and Chipmunk.

Now more determined that ever, the girls have released a track titled Cool It Off. If it's acting as a preview for what is yet to come off their debut album, then I like what I hear! It's a polished, sexy club/R&B tune that certainly gets your a$$ shakin'.

Gaga's The Edge of Glory confirmed third official single, Hair confirmed next promo single

More news from Camp Gaga - the next promo single to be lifted off the Born This Way album is Hair (cover above) to be released to iTunes on May 16. Stay tuned for the audio as soon as it's available.

In other Lady Gaga news, riding on success of it's release The Edge of Glory has moved from promo single to locked-in official third single. The track was released last week worldwide to rave reveiws, and is currently dominating iTunes charts globally. In Australia the single debuted at #11 on the ARIA Singles Charts this weekend.

LADY GAGA COVERS "V" ASIA ISSUE

Lady Gaga was recently photographed by Inez and Vinoodh and appears on the Asia issue of V Magazine. The cover sees Gaga with not one, but three heads.

In addition to appearing on the cover for the magazine, Gaga will now join forces with V as one of their new fasion and art writers. Her very first column will appear on this issue, available today.

Preparing herself for the release of her Born This Way album on May 23, Lady Gaga visited the Graham Norton Show to talk about her new release.

Proving that she's not just a talented music artist who has taken the world by storm, Gaga joins her fellow guests (Gwyneth Paltrow and Geoffrey Rush) in a range of conversational topics that are quite humorous - those including the 90s, being single, and the word c*nt. Oh dear.

Earlier this year Kylie Minogue featured on the cover of Vs Magazine Spring/Summer edition.  Now she's back in a dancing fashion video with her track Get Outta My Way as the background tune.

[FRESH RELEASE] Melanie C // Rock Me

Ex Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm, affectionately known as Mel C, will release her fifth studio album in 2011. Chisholm has been in the studio with Dave Roth and Andy Chatterley (husband of Nerina Pallot) producing new material, the first taste of which is the track Rock Me.

The single is an upbeat pop-dance track that highlight's Mel C's distinct vocals. In it's high energy it actually has a lot of potential - so I'm looking to hearing more. Take a listen to the preview below for more. And don't foget to share your thoughts!

[VIDEO PREMIERE] HAVANA BROWN "WE RUN THE NIGHT"

Australia's very own Havana Brown launched her debut single upon us a few weeks ago. The track is Brown's first offering in which she provides vocals herself, as the famous female DJ is renowned for her Crave compilation series she produces (now up to volume five).

We Run The Night is a feel-good club track - which is very evident in the LA filmed video clip released this weekend. In it Brown has multiple costumes changes and certainly reminds all the boys how damn fine she really is. You go girl.

The Rihanna reign just won't let let up, will it?

Not content with how the last 12 months has again secured her spot as a talented, successful pop star. Not content with already producing three Billboard #1 singles. Not content with her beautiful ballad California King Bed racing up global charts. No, no, no. RiRi is not content.

So not content that RiRi this morning tweeted the cover to a new single - Man Down - which will be released in conjunction with California Kind Bed. Man Down, a clear favourite of fans worldwide, was sent to US radio stations last week - let's see how this baby charts.

Beyoncé reveals album title, premieres Run The World (Girls) trailer

Beyoncé has just revealed the trailer to the Run The World (Girls) video clip - a longer version than what we've seen before (with two 30-second clips being released prior). The video is ripe with army themes... soldiers, propaganda, uniforms, and B!

Whilst the single isn't doing great things globally and is being tainted as a flop (so far only peaking at #11 in the UK, #12 in Australia and #33 in the US), I dig Bey's new concept, direction and sound. In fact, I applaud her for stepping out of the RedOne / Max Martin / Dr Luke standard pop zone that most artists lock in to. Run The World (Girls) is fresh, exciting, and certainly out of Bey's comfort zone.

In addition, Queen B has announced the title for her new album - aptly titled 4 - which she claims was actually titled by her fans. In an interview with Billboard she reveals:

“Everywhere I look, I see them calling it ’4,’ she explains. “I had a whole other name and concept, but I keep seeing that the fans love the name ’4,’ and I think it would be a really nice thing to let them name the record.”

The number four also holds personal significance for Beyoncé, and not just because her latest studio album will be her fourth as a solo artist. “We all have special numbers in our lives, and 4 is that for me,” she says. It’s the day I was born. My mother’s birthday, and a lot of my friends’ birthdays, are on the fourth; April 4 is my wedding date.”

[FRESH RELEASE] Lady Gaga // The Edge Of Glory

Following on in the footsteps of many other pop artists providing fans the opportunity to purchase album tracks in teh countdown to an albums release, Lady Gaga releases The Edge of Glory as a promo track in teh countdown to the Born This Way release on May 23rd.

The track was reportedly inspired by the death of Gaga's grandfather, and she informs us that the song is "about your last moment on earth, the moment of truth, the moment before you leave earth." Deep.

The Edge of Glory is full of 80s and 90s, including a section with a sax! I can't even remember the last time I heard sax in a track. Either way, I like it. Take a listen below.

[VIDEO PREMIERE] Rihanna // California King Bed

Lady RiRi has premiered the video for the fourth single off her Loud album, California King Bed.

The video clip sees Rihanna get all cosy with what one would describe as a not-so-ugly gentleman; however assuming the lyrics of the song, whilst they're close physically, they're not emotionally. Sigh.

Moving away from the emotional disconnect, it's great to see the same artistic feel we saw in the video for Only Girl (In The World) in this video - it works very well.

Whilst she tantalises the American market with her (somewhat-awesome-lacking) single Motivation featuring rapper Lil Wayne, Kelly Rowland continues to play with her UK/European market in her collaboration with Italian DJ Alex Gaudino. The single, What A Feeling, was originally released in mid March; however just now has a video for the track been released.

Ms Rowland looks mighty fine in her CFM boots and white shirt, showing the other homeboys on stage some serious dance moves. Seriously, I think some people underestimate how fine this girl really is. Damn!

We heart you Kelly Rowland. We heart you lots.

Whilst the track is not yet available for the Australian public to purchase digitally, great news is that as of this week it was sent to commercial radio - so expect a digital release soon!

One of my favourite tracks off Alexis Jordan's eponymous debut album has finally had the video premiere in the UK. Hush Hush is released as the official third single from the album and was released to the UK/European market this week.

I love the fact Miss Jordan has done away with her good girl image (pardon the pun) in this video. She definitely brings some sex appeal to this clip - trash it up a bit I say, she looks hot, especially when she does that hip-swagger. Hubbba, hubba.

All my ladies are in the house tonight! Australia's adopted princess, Wynter Gordon, has dropped the video for her latest chart and club smash, Till Death. Sitting pretty at #24 and #5 on the ARIA Singles Chart and Club charts respectively, this track ain't goin' nowhere before it makes an impression!

The video is a typical party scene with Wynter and her crew partyin' till death apparently (pardon the pun). Nothing extraordinary, but a fun clip all the same.

[VIDEO PREMIERE] Lady Gaga // Judas

Ok, so I'm a little late on the post, but hey, it's been a busy week in JimmySteele's world! Of course, in that busy week Lady Gaga had to premiere the brilliant video for Judas, didn't she?

The clip, which is co-directed by Gaga herself, features Lady G has Mary Magdalene and American actor Norman Reedus as Judas. Obviously the video has a number of biblical references in it, however I'm not going to sit here and list them all for you. What I will do though, is tell you that the video is actually, brilliant.

Gaga has delivered a video with great cinematography, a good storyline, and a downright kinky bath scene with Jesus, Mary and Judas. I don't care how many people it upsets, it rocks. Go Gaga, I'm very happy you didn't let me down on this one!

Jennifer Lopez has premiered the video for her hot new single, I'm Into You, featuring Lil Wayne. As per my preview post when the track was officially released, it's far from great in comparison to On The Floor - however the more I listen to this track the more it's growing on me.

On saying that, J Lo certainly delivers in the video. You can't deny that the woman is absolutely gorgeous... and as per the preview I delivered a week ago - so is the hottie in the video (model/actor William Levy).

Ex-Australian Idol contestant Prinnie Stevens, aka Prinnie, has released her debut single Lion.

The track offers a R&B/pop number with good beats and a sexy chorus (Imma make you roar like a lion!) that wouldn't be too out of place on a Jessica Mauboy, Rihanna or Beyonce album. Whilst it may not be as polished, it certainly is raw enough to show true talent.

Miss Prinnie needs no introduction to the industry either - she has an established career in New York and Singapore (where she featured as part of an all-girl group) and now is setting her sights back on Australia. Prinnie has featured on stage shows Rent and Footloose, and has also worked back and centre stage for artists such as Robbie Williams, Guy Sebastian and Ne-Yo... just to name a few.

So whilst I've only heard one track - I like what I hear. No auto-tune, real vocals, real music, with just enough attitude to bring it on home. Excellent.

Kylie to release exclusive EPs - North American Tour, Bonus Edition and Put Your Hands Up (Remixes)

Kylie Minogue is set to release two exclusive EPs in the month of May!

To compliment her current Aphrodite Les Folies Tour across North America, Minogue will release the North American Tour, Bonus Edition EP which consists of five live tracks - Can't Get You Outta My Head, All The Lovers and Get Outta My Way (recorded in a BBC Live Lounge session); and Better Than Today and Confide In Me (recorded live in New York).

Additionally, it seems as though the rumours are true - an exclusive remix EP of the Nervo-penned track Put Your Hands Up will be released on May 31st. The EP will feature various remixes, including those by Pete Hammond and Bimbo Jones.

LISTEN TO HAVANA BROWN'S DEBUT SINGLE "WE RUN THE NIGHT"

Australian DJ Havana Brown has released her debut single, We Run The Night. Brown has successfully supported the likes of Britney Spears and The Pussycat Dolls on tour, and more recently Chris Brown, where she previewed the track.

Officially released last Friday, the single is already shooting for the top spot in iTunes - currently sitting at #6. Take a listen to the track below, with further news on a video clip shortly.
